I haven't tried as there isn't a self serve one near me and I don't dare to go to manned tills as I don't have much other stuff I need to buy to try and hide the discount. I even went in to Boots this afternoon to have a go but chicken out and walked back out! Such a chicken!:o
No SS tills at any of my locals, so I just chose my SAs carefullyNo trouting so far, some confused SAs though! :rotfl:

its a normal store that shuts at 10pm.
need to try and save as much as possible this year, and those of you getting 10p ish items is amazing!
HiyaIt also depends on what sort of prices you're looking for? I'd suggest half price could be about 4 or 5pm. Another reduction at about 6 or 7pm and then final reductions about 8pm
But it does vary considerably, if it was me I'd get in there at around 7pm and suss it out

I have never eaten a kebab from a kebab takeaway....and I must be the only person to have never eaten a subway either!
I've never had either, I've also never had a beef steak!Fudge_Cake wrote: »I'm after a little bit of advice from those in the know about dogs please....pretty pleaseOne of my little ones is poorly with an upset stomach. She's been sick about 5 times...nothing from the other end
(sorry if TMI!) Never had anything like this before, hasn't eaten any grass and it seems that what she's bringing up is all that she's eaten today. She's a little quiet but was fine when we went on a walk. It seems like just an upset stomach to me but what would you do? When would you re-introduce food? And would you do bland chicken and rice or suchlike for a day or 2 to begin with? Thank you very much in advance. I'm sure she'll be fine but she's my baby and of course I worry!
xx
One of my cats was sick a few times in a few days a couple of weeks back (he's not the vomiting sort), took him to the vet who gave him some Zantac peppermint syrup to settle the stomach. Worked wonders, I have been very careful not to give him any treats as well and just fed him his normal dry food so he's on a plain diet.
I know it's not the same but the vet said sometimes limiting to one food is good especially if the animal is normally given other stuff, or if that doesn't work you can be prescribed a bland diet. Probably applicable for dogs I would imagine, hth and hope your little pooch is better soon (((hugs))) xxNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I'd start with small meals of the chicken, (only a few bites) so that it's easier for her to eat and hopefully keep down.
I hope she feels better soon, I know what it's like to worry about one that's ill.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

I shouldnt worry about the weetabix token being for a different size, I ran out of money today and tried an andrex coupon but it didnt work, so I tried a velvet one, printed from safecoupons and it went through and saved the day......I didn't buy any loo roll but I didn't want the embarassment of telling the ss person to void things off!!!! I'll go to the naughty step now.

Hopefully that conveys how I feel about this. Wendy I did say to you very politely before that it's a sure fire way to get coupons stopped and I'm sure others would have said the same also. While it may not stop suppliers from providing the coupons, it will stop retailers accepting them as they LOSE moneylong run! Yes businesses like T's and A's are raking it in but the reason they rake it in is because they're great at finding ways to cut costs and bump up profits. Advice like the above is just so deconstructive to saving money in the long run and very very unhelpful. We all want to save money. I've had SA's not even look at coupons before, I could have handed them the other 50 odd coupons I had in my bag. It might have brought my total down to pennies but would it have been right?? NO!
I try really hard to be diplomatic on these issues and not get too involved in arguments but knowliigly flouting the rules to benefit yourself in the short term but deprive everyone including yourself in the long run is just silly!!

xxxx Brilliant advice, I will see how she is in the morning and decide what to do with regards to her eating. Will definitely do a bit of chicken for her though when I feel she's well enough to keep it down. Again, thank you :A xxx

Oh, forgot to say Mr T's have the Bright Starts tiny turtle prop up mats on their baby event, scanning through at £8 but some stores have ones stickered for the half price toy sale at £6.50.
Not much of a DTD but a good price none the less at £5, I bought 2in N3wt0wnbr3da but C0nnswat3r had no stickers on theirs
Other stores may still have stickered onesSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Re: Coupons
I have only just started using them but always make sure that they are for the exact item that I am buying. But I don't understand why some people get so angry about someone using them for not the exact item. I am sure that most shoppers don't use coupons so that if a few people used inaccurate coupons for an item, then the other people buying the correct item but without a coupon would offset any anomaly.
