    Evening all

I bought a couple of reduced items earlier this eve, labels said 55p (each) both scanned at £2.00. Went to CS and was told, as I had used self service no DTD. I mentioned I had other shopping and had not noticed ;) and it didn't seem fair - SA said I could phone head office and they would confirm what she had said.

    Is that true?

    Thanks

You could always play dumb and say that you thought the discount would come off at the end (like multibuys)

Will be doing the garden one, each year my DS1 (10yo) asks if we can put meat out to see if the Red Kites & Buzzards that are in the area will land in the garden so he can count them!!:rotfl::rotfl: He's a real bird brain (in both senses)

We get loads of buzzards here. Lovely birds to watch when they are in full swoop!
I'm also getting visited regularly by a heron who likes to use my garden fence to eye up lunch in next doors pond!
In the spring I'll hear the woodpeckers in the copse just down the lane and also the Barn Owl in the farm around the corner.
Since moving out into the sticks, I've got to know the different birdsong....before it was just seagulls!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I bought 4 packs of reduced finest sausages today for 81p each. Two scanned at 81p and 2 scanned at £1.99, which was the previous reduced price. The yellow stickers had been changed on the top but not the barcode side , which is what the staff usually scan. I went to the desk expecting a refund only and was definately not going to ask for DTD as I was not in the mood, and the little darlin' gave me DTD on 2 packs without even asking. Result ! £3.98 spend, £4.72 back and 2 packs free sausages

Also, I bought 2 packs salmon reduced from £12 to £4, and knew one of the packs would scan at £10, as sticker on bottom hadn't been updated and told the checkout to scan the top sticker , DOH ! Would have got DTD on that as well.:o There's a lesson here;)

Also found 3 packs of 1p green tea. the cashier looked startled, so I reassured her that it was RTC and I'd bought it before.
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

I reckon the dead guy was moriarty. If you play it back on iplayer you will see that there was a quick shot of a container with bagged rubbish in. Sherlock jumped in that. Watkins view was obscured. I reckon in his grief he was convinced in the belief that the dead person was Sherlock.

When you see the calm expression on sherlocks brothers face as he reads the paper headlines, it is obvious to me that he arranged to have the articles written. To convince the world of his death.

    What do ya reckon?!

I said the same as you....that it was Moriarty.
My OH reckons Watkins was stunned when he banged his head so was too confused to identify the body....and also Sherlock said to the woman she had to help him to die...what was that about??

I've just sat here for an hour, done the wine thing, and got 6 bottles of something :rotfl:(3 red & 3 white hopefully :rotfl:) being delivered on Wednesday :D

Nearly gave up at one point, as I couldnt seem to get from wine demon to naked wines - kept sticking - but closed it all, cleared cookies & tried again and it was fine :T

    Thank you hugely :A

Did the 4 for £6 also come off you final total for the finest sausages?
