Hi all.
Been busy today, getting my comfort pure that I left behind on Saturday at Sc£&thorpe mr A along with a little to-ing and fro-ing to collect my newborn starter kits, cutting the coupons and getting some more...10 packs of nappies & wipes for £10, 4 xs little swimmers kits for £4 to include a little swaddle towel in each, and 10 little organic cotton hats being sent to a neonatal unit as I won't use them.
Then into mr T's to but 6 packs of little swimmers in S & M for £5.70 and 9 packs of huggies pure wipes with a balance of £1.23 towards my other shopping, which included using up some ocean spray coupons I'd been saving, 6 cartons for 51p, and 2 £2.50 meal deals....think I paid £4.28 for them :T:T:T
Now I have enough newborn nappies for my imminent arrival and also swim nappies sorted for our fortnight in salou in may (hopefully).
Sending mr meerkat on a road trip tomorrow while I stay home with my little meerkat wallpapering her room...still have to buy a mattress for her new bed :eek:Baby meerkat...born 9.10am 31/1/12 - now a fully fledged monster meerkat.
New Baby meerkat due 09/09/20130 -
:rotfl:i'm six foot tall and look like a policewoman;) Can be mistaken for being polish.
Drives a picanto and looks like a sociology student. if you see someone stocking up on a glitch in S.R one evening it might be me. Am also partial to monk, morse and midsommer murders.
Are you getting a picture yet:rotfl:
Confused?? I am most of the time.
I think the best way to recognise each other is that our trolleys will be identical when next glitch comes along:rotfl:
I have midlenght wavy hair, and i too can be mistaken for being polish because Poland is next to my native country:rotfl:0 -

I have the tiniest kitchen in the world and no back door as my fridge lives there.
Whenever I have a couple of jars or boxes etc, off I tootle out of the house from the front door to pop em in appropriate bins at side of the building. Not too much effort really. My kitchen bin rarely needs emptying as a result!
The tetra paks I have to take to Tesco as there are no facilities for them otherwise. No collections.
I put all my plastic bags into one plastic bag and take that Tesco when it is full. I fill it with cereal plastic bags, plastic wrappings, old food bags. Basically anything resembling plastic bags.
Batteries are saved in a jar until full and then taken tho the supermarkets as they can be disposed of there. Even lidl and aldi have a collection box for em instore.
Not a lot of effort really. If you have kids or care about the future, you would find it hard to be any other way. Nice to hear that some MSErs are gonna try to do it for the first time
Anyone doing the RSPB birdwatch today?
I did it today with kids. We spotted 16 species of birds in one hour. 54 birds all together. My father in law has an amazing garden for birds and feeds em like royalty every day. Always loads of activity there.
Thought it was 28th/29th?0 -

Evening all
I bought a couple of reduced items earlier this eve, labels said 55p (each) both scanned at £2.00. Went to CS and was told, as I had used self service no DTD. I mentioned I had other shopping and had not noticedand it didn't seem fair - SA said I could phone head office and they would confirm what she had said.
Is that true?
Thanks0 -

And kills the aches and pains. ..... Plus, I hate the way you get out of a shower cubicle and it's absolutely freezing! ....And that's before someone turns the tap on somewhere else in the house and you boil or freeze! Hot bath, jacuzzi session, something good to read and radio 4. Bliss!Hope is not a strategy.0 -
