:rotfl:i'm six foot tall and look like a policewoman;) Can be mistaken for being polish.

Drives a picanto and looks like a sociology student. if you see someone stocking up on a glitch in S.R one evening it might be me. Am also partial to monk, morse and midsommer murders.

Are you getting a picture yet:rotfl:

Confused?? I am most of the time.

    Thank you Lutzi1 :)

BobC, i hope card company will reimburse you. They often can work out exactly where the details were taken from. Last time my card was stopped, it was part of a much larger investigation, but they couldn't say who they suspected, as the investigation was ongoing.

New card'll take a week or so to reach you, so hope you have other means of funding things until then x

It just has low, high or keep warm, no auto on mine. I had it on low, gonna try it again tomorrow and see how it goes. Glad I'm not the only one with 'caramelisation' though ;) Mine was slighty just past that though :rotfl::rotfl:

it will be the keep warm then, the low keeps it a a certain temp,

Also don't take the lid off for a least two hours but pref 4 or even 6, let the cooker do the work!!

also another tip is to stick in a tin of tinned toms to thicken it and bulk it out a bit!:D

Made these this morning for me and the old lady i look after for breakfast - not as where near as good as yours im afraid Mislaid but im pleased with them, and must admit they taste pretty good, so thanks once again for the recipe. Would have posted earlier but have been tied up - not literally i hasten to add, my OH went away for the weekend to Benidorm and arrived back in UK this lunch time, then rang me to say he couldn't get in the house and his Dad (67) was lying on the floor in the front room, he could see him but couldn't get any answer!! told him to ring for an ambulance then he had to find a way to get in im at work 75 miles away, so i couldn't help him to get in quick, he got in ambulance arrived and it looks like he has been there since yesterday morning, he has been ringing me on and off all day from the hospital - suspected broken collar bone, broken leg and also damage to his head and one of his arms, still waiting for the results back from the x-rays, he has been at the hospital since approx 3pm with him and still no definite news on what is exactly wrong, i have never heard my OH sound so scared its really shook him up, i would love to go home and be with him but i don't have any cover this week for my job so stuck here till friday :mad::mad:

bensonsmum, just read this and hope things are calmer now and everything is getting sorted out. It's horrible when you can't be there to help. Big hugs :A
    Hope is not a strategy.

I bought a couple of reduced items earlier this eve, labels said 55p (each) both scanned at £2.00. Went to CS and was told, as I had used self service no DTD. I mentioned I had other shopping and had not noticed ;) and it didn't seem fair - SA said I could phone head office and they would confirm what she had said.

    Is that true?

    Thanks

No it's not, it's absolute lies and HO should tell you that...I got a DTD with SS till recently no problem at all, you don't make the prices and it's not your job to check them, it's theirs to get the price correct!

I can't belive how long some of the whoopsied veg lasts. Just last night I finished the whoopsied bag of new potatoes I got for T's on 26 Dec for 33p, and they were still fine. The carrotts and white cabbage I got recently are still going strong!

My whoopsied flowers that I got for 50p from £5 lasted 10 days.
