I knew exactly what "buppie" was, my dad always called it that. He always used to say when I was little "come on and eat your buppie up" and for a real treat I was allowed buppie and sugar. (And yes I am old enough to remember the sugar shortage too. :o)

My dad used to fry us sugar sandwiches when we were little. Sounds disgustung now but then I swear they tasted like doughnuts without the jam. And I remember being about 10 and my mum had gone into hospital and was away 6 weeks convalescing(That's what you did years ago when you had an op!!) and me and my brother were really winding him up about what we wanted for tea. In the end he said "What do you want, a cornflake omelette???" And that's what he made and that's what we ate, standing joke in our family now, If you don't like whats being made you can have a cornflake omelette:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

weird food and toilet roll confessions?! really? :p

ok then, no weird food for me(I think), toilet roll... we usually put a new one on top of the old one :o I prefer to hold it in my hand when I use it :p

now what I'm fussy about is the way I hang up my laundry  the small items(socks & underwear) goes at the bottom, tops and tshirts middle and jumpers&trousers top and adding to that bf's stuff goes on the left side, mine on the right :rotfl:can't look what the airer looks like after bf has done it

    do you follow the rule.?

worn on the top hang from the bottom
worn on the bottom hang from the top
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

Buppie is bread & butter, my mum always called it that when we were little so it's stuck, don't know where it comes from though.Bit like we always call the tv remote a "jibber" and people look at me like I'm mad if I say "Where's the jibber?", remote control is far to normal!!;)

In our house the remote is the 'doofer' and the tv is 'the box'
