Oh forgot to say, I'm now in the slow cooker gang
OH went and got one yesterday morning and came home and made a stew in it and very tasty it was too
So now I'm having a go, I've got some meatballs in it, and so far it's looking pretty good. I'm not the most confident of cooks, so fingers crossed it turns out ok and I can have a bash at making other stuff in it as well

I got loads of illooms for 18p. 18 packs in fact. They were labeled as such in the new store. Nothing exciting there other than redbush x 40 bags for 84p. All stock was brand new so nothing reduced to clear or old clip strips.
Not gonna make a special trip unless I'm passing. Beautifully stocked shelves though.
They have a scanner so it appears that they are not phasing em out.
Congrats on a lovely new store though Mr T :T:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Agreed - lots of excellent MSE recipes - links gather together all that knowledge and experience in one place - like a recipe bank built up over the years. Wonderful resource.

Tried this yesterday but felt worse after because every store I went into they had either the vits or the shots but never both!! I'd even went to the trouble of printing out MOC's for things I needed/wanted so that would help explain the cheap total but was a waste.
May just go for a wander round Mr S or Mr T to see what I can findSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Yesterday, we went to Mr A's to buy the Huggies starter packs using the vouchers. I had one and my husband had another one. We also had vouchers for the Persil non bio. We bought a few other bits and pieces so that we would actually have to spend money. We went through two separate tills. They accepted my husband's Persil vouchers but refused mine! The SA called over a supervisor who went off to check them. She came back and said she'd have to check the internet. She went off again. Then came back and refused them because the barcodes were all the same (I was using 3). I asked for them back and said that I would use them at another nearby Asda. The SA asked if I still wanted the Persil. I did a quick calculation and worked out that if I didn't buy one of them, they would have to give me £1.50p so I agreed to buy one. Then the SA put the Huggies voucher through then called a supervisor because the voucher took off £5 but the nappies were only £3. By now the people behind me were getting annoyed. The supervisor told the SA to accept the voucher and walked off. Then the SA had to call the supervisor yet again because she said the voucher needed overriding. The SA said, "That will be 50p" much to the astonishment of the people in the queue behind me!0
