i shall sit on the naughty step ( not to bad am sitting with HC, )
Awwhh Rhosynbach please come off the naughty step (as should HC!)
I just thought you were being patriotic rather than anti English and I do think some people are easily offended. I think if everyone was a bit more "live and let live" then we'd all get along a lot better. Save the reporting for the really offensive stuff and it has more power0 -

Good Afternoon Elite :hello:
Hope all's well, just starting to catch up now, back in a mo!Just looking at the first page Fudge_Cake, and you are now on it properly, i.e. post no 20 :j ............... but only due to HC's post/s being deleted  :mad:Thanks for noticing 3Dogs. Great to be on the 1st page but I would much prefer HC being around.....I'd take 3rd, 4th, 5th page then
:D
If it's something you want then do it, as long as you learn how to set up/run a business first and do all the research needed there's no reason you couldn't make a real success of it!
But on the other hand don't do it if you don't feel ready, hope I'm making some sort of sense, though I doubt it :rotfl:
Thanks kadison, I did Business Studies for A level and would give my all to it if I started up a business. I would absolutely love it. I just don't have enough confidence in my work, when you see for example the cakes on the home-made cake thread etc etc... Plus I've got something my Father said to me in my head all the time 'Nobody would ever pay for YOUR cakes, it's just a stupid idea'(This was when I was asked by my Aunty to make 100 cupcakes for my cousin's engagement. Nothing was mentioned about money but I was talking to my Mum before we left and found out that my Aunty had offered to pay for them or if not to atleast cover the expense and my Mum had refused. It had taken me hours to make them, they were all uniform and IMO professional looking. I burny my arm something rotten and then my Father tipped up a whole tray of them the night before so I had to make another batch. It wasn't that I wanted the money for them necessarily, it would have just been nice to know that they were worth paying for.
I wouldn't do this as you may be left with a negative balance if you only just cover the negative cost left after taking away the price of the 4 most expensive vitamins.
The reason I say this is that boots tend to line up their 3 for 2s in order of price and deduct every 3rd price for instance, you buy 4 x 99p vitamins, 2 x 79p, most places will give you the 79p ones free, however boots do this...
99p, 99p, 99p (Free) 99p, 79p, 79p (Free)
So do make sure you work it out this way to ensure you cover your negative balance sufficiently
(I can confirm this is in place as I bought 3 x 99p and 3 x 79p vitamins yesterday and got a 99p and a 79p free)
Yes kadison you're right, I'll go and adjust my post accordingly. I didn't realise that they grouped the vitamins in price and only found ou by reading Caz's explanation on the main thread. But thank you for re-iterating kadison and anyone that read my post....ignore it! SORRY!'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!
No Weetabix in $w1nd0n store but can confirm Boots glitch still working. About 10 shots left at 0rb1t@l P@rk but hardly any 99p vitamins, no 79p vitamins (this is after I'd taken my stuff). Smiley blonde lady at pharmacy till looked at the screen and then at the receipt for an absolute age looking very confused but then just handed the stuff over, still looking confused :rotfl: Thanks to the No7 voucher and the £2.01 negative balance (6 x 99p vits), my £8 toner only cost 99p! Plus I had one of those No7 starter kits for a fiver and a few other things, she couldn't work out how my balance was so low! Love it!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

BOOTS GLITCH STILL WORKING TODAY.
the shots were stickered at half price. did not think glitch would work because of this. so i asked an assistant if i could pay full price for them. she must have thought i was stupid. anyway she said are you sure, and removed the stickers. her face was a picture when total came up on till.
i got one lot yesterday and 2 lots today. all in all i got £2-£3 off my shopping three times. also got a £5 voucher for no7. terms are good on that as i can get something for £5 without having to buy anything else.
i should add i got in lots of 60 -

Is there a thread on Bootsing? Santa brought me a Boots gift voucher, so now is a good time for me to learn. I'm getting a bit disheartened with Tesco lately.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0

Can you clean them well enough to use them for posh looking homemade chocolate mousse dishes ?
Whilst on the subject, a lot of you have very nice looking expensive kitchens, I'm looking for the name of the Rolls Royce of Potato Peelers they look more or less like regular ones but you just need to tickle the potato not lose the skin off your fingers as well. All I can remember is its a foreign sounding brand a one word name.
No idea but I want this one (you can use it for potatoes)
