Beki, you seem to have a rough start so I am so glad that things have turned out right for you, except for the star fish   maddening

I have learnt so much about autism and asbergers on this thread, and the one thing that stands out most is how special they are. I think HC's post, through Nilliklala yesterday or whenever it was, I've lost track, showed this perfectly. OK it must be a nightmare at times to bring up a child like this or to live with them, but the humility shown by HC should have embarassed some people, and that is where the 'special' part in them comes out. When it is so hard to do or say some things, it must be so rewarding when they get it right, or excel at something, or sometimes, I would hazard a guess, just the look on the face, in their eyes, sometimes that makes it all worth while

MSE has taught me many things, practical things, but I think we can all learn some humility and understanding from all this

Must go to bed now though - night hun

Awww one day I'll get a post on the first page!! Still hard at work! :D

Just looking at the first page Fudge_Cake, and you are now on it properly, i.e. post no 20 :j ............... but only due to HC's post/s being deleted

Nikkilala - I wonder if you could add the link from last thread to HC's Guide to Posting Photo's to your post on page 1 so we can direct people to it, seeing as how HC's post was deleted ;);)

Definitely off to bed this time :o

You are right hun times like that are amazing. I have literally pulled my hair out and been beaten black and blue by him but times where things go right are worth it. I think HC did so well on here and with his post via nikki :) sleep well Hun x

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

I managed 3 packs of whoopsied casserole veg (this time with potatoes already in) for 20p a pack. Debating whether to try the slow cooker on Monday to make the casserole or stick to what I know. I have one of the slow cookers from Ts (blue box) that cost around £10 but I've no idea how the capacity of that one compares to a pyrex casserole dish. If they're the same size I could have one batch in the oven and one in the slow cooker and (sorry for the Sainsbob plug) see if I can Taste the Difference. If the slow cooker can hold 2 batches then I might bite the bullet and just use it on its own.

So any chefs out there, could you help me please? Using Google and a measuring jug, I think the Pyrex dish is 2lt and the slow cooker is 3.3lt. How much space do you need to leave in a slow cooker as I fear there's only room for one batch. Unless I can find a Crock Pot glitching soon!
