Oh hun, you haven't offended me in the slightest. All I was saying way that my ex is a fab dad to his first child but a pretty pathetic one to our sons. I will try to maintain dignity and let him slip up but it's hard. Some day the boys will ask me what happened and it's difficult to know what to do for the best. At the end of the day he chose his ex-wife and their childs happiness over me & the boys so what do you do? Do I want to be the one to tell my sons that between the two of them, their father was only around long enough for 1 birthday? Do I tell DS2 that less than 3 months after he was released from hospital after being in an incubator for 5 days and on an IV, that his father decided that he'd rather spend more time, money & effort on his 1st family than on us? At least the boys are young enough that they will never remember him ever being in their lives on a day-to-day basis (well given DS1 wasn't even 2yo and DS2 was only 3 months old I really don't think he'll remember). What I don't want is for the boys to ever think they were the problem. I simply wanted a good life for all of us, including the ex and his kid but for the ex, it was his way or the highway.
But enough about me, it's Saturday night and I don't want our 'lurker' getting wound up reading this as I know he has a particular disliking towards him. So HC, don't worry, karma will bite and make me a very happy woman :T0 -

Grrr when will my OH learn you can't star fish in a double bed when you share it and when you are 6 foot 5! Such a plank and I can't get him to move either!
Caz I can sympathise with you well sort of. My ex decided his new daughter was always more important than our son. I think because of his aspergers he saw him as imperfect but it couldn't be further from the truth! I keep waiting for the day DS realises what a tool his dad is though without seeing him he doesn't get to see if that makes sense. And if he ever asks me why we split I will tell him, the short version mind. I was 16 and a half when I had him his dad 17, he was cheating on me all along. I found out and begged him to stay even though I didn't like the things he did to me, he toyed with me for months making me think I had a chanceso I ended up a single parent to an autistic child at 17 while trying to look after my alcoholic mum
but life did get better for me. I did my as levels had another bad relationship and then finally met my amazing OH well minus the starfishing. He is ten times the man my ex could ever be. And one day you will be in the same boat, in the mean time you can be proud of yourself for the wonderful job you are doing. Don't ever let him get you down because you have something he doesn't and that is the love and respect of your Lo's and your friends especially on here! Sorry I'm really waffling now... Anyway hugs!
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
I have been lurking tonight
well keeping an eye on the thread while doing other things, one of which was a shopping list for Asda tomorrow to use up my £5 off £40 to get the best APG - didn't realise it was so difficult  anyway, I am hoping for a £9.29 APG from my £40.96 spend so I hope they compare everything, though I have checked them on mysupermkt
Mr 3Dogs is still suffering with the sciatica but we are going to have a slow shuffle around the car boot and have our breakfast there, before going to Asda
Hope things look better tomorrow Czerniacha and you get your nursery problem sorted lookingforabargain, that report sounds terrible
