Sorry, morning all.....morning HC :wave:Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.0 -
But funnily enough I now would go there rather than vacuum factory. 3 customer service complaints in 3 weeks. :-(Just before I go & do "those things that must be done".
I usually go to sleep with the talk radio on & last night was no exception between 12 & 1 LBC were asking for people to phone in about Tesco or what is the kindest way to eat a Gingerbread man, most people were phoning in about the latter but they was a woman called Rachel who phoned in about Tesco.
Rachel if you are on here you sounded like a plant from Tesco.
Firstly she was raving about the big Tesco near Gillette Corner (00sterleigh) which is my all time worst Tesco, she thought it marvellous it had two floors, & the fact it had a World Foods aisle (didn't say if she actually bought anything in that aisle) also that it sold packaged Halal meat which looked so much nicer than the way Halalmeat is usually sold (Obviously hasn't heard they have a Halal butcher at Bovine Bridge but no regular butchers counter) again she didn't say if she bought any.
She has 4 children & sometimes on Saturday night takes them for a 2 hour outing to Tesco because its so nice & the cafe is really good (I doubt you can but anything to eat up there on a Saturday night !) its just wonderful
She likes the fact the staff are drawn from the community (?) & she sees the same faces & in the freezing cold its nice to see the trolleymen who may have learning difficulties but she feels they are well looked after by Tesco
Then started muttering about villages campaigning about not having a Tesco but a store in the Chilterns by no means the biggest is the most profitable as the villagers travel to use it & the car park is always full.
Next time I go to Tesco especially Gillette Corner I'd better have whatever she's on before I go :rotfl::mad:
How lovely not to live in the real world, getting threatened in the car park because you dare to question someone in a disabled space who has stopped to use their phone & have a fag, the manager didn't want to get involved and told me I would have to phone the police, scanners no working, taken away the only one left disconnected, price labels NEVER in the right place or not there, a notice saying because the printer has broken the prices haven't been changed so no DTD today I could go on all day .............I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
Good things come to those who wait:A Bad things come on express delivery:(0 -

i make a bajan xmas cake got the recipe of a friend when i was over there a few years ago
you soak it in stout and rum for 6 months and blend the fruit. I don't like fruit cake but could eat a full one of these and to keep it moist put a bit of rum over every week.
have more fruit soaking for later this year , friend said they just keep adding more fruit to it0 -
Morning Threadies
and Threadie Lurkers
Cold here this morningbut at least I can now start wearing my new Per Una Coat OH bought me for Christmas
Trusting we are all wellx x
Toni`s Mummy0 -
I hardly think Per Una is stripping attire, I wear the skirt (Cord mid thigh) and shorts(almost knee length) over thick tights or leggins, and I cant help what nature gave me (no implants here):mad:
My 22 year old daughter is a real fashionista and also wears shorts.....but the tiny ones....over a pair of thick tights.
She is a bit of a looker even if I do say so myself, and was interviewed once when she was nightclubbing about where she has her hair done, buys her clothes and make up etc. and to her amazement it made the papers!!
The only thing she doesn't have, (much to her disappointment!!), are the boobies :rotfl:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0
