This sounds exactly like a friend of mine over a year ago. She was rushed into A&E as it was feared she was having a heart attack at work.
She had all the symptoms but when they did an ECG it was clear.
It transpires (several months later after countless tests and toing and froing from the hospital that she has a haitus hernia.
She suffers terribly with reflux and chest pain....but to correct it surgically is a pretty invasive operation involving lifting her rib cage to get at it!
She's on medication and they are monitoring it but it took them a long time to discover what was wrong.
thanks, I think I'll give that op a missbut am at GP tomorrow so will see what she says.

Random question of the day: my t's scanners are switched on but whatever is scanned just gets a bleep and find a member of staff message.... they have been like this for 4 days (it's torture - pharmacy is outside of the tills and CS really don't seem to like providing service to a customer in the form of price checking!!!!) Is there a simple and clever way to reset them????
Very sad finding out what's happened today. Although I can appreciate what the mods are doing and the fact that control needs to be exerted over a forum that anyone can access, I do hope HC is restored to his rightful place and posting again soon. The immense support and lovely comments have been made by everyone on the thread about him is so good to see (and hopefully he is seeing it in lurker form) - he has always made me laugh and seems to generally make the thread a brighter place.0 -
hi all
just logged on and am very suprised to see hc has been banned !! what annoyed me most is that he has never made any secret of his aspergers ( which is a mild form of autism ) and NEVER means offence !! he has always happily deleted anything that offened anyone when asked !
please all read this that i found online :
2. People With Asperger's Face Language ChallengesWhile those with Asperger's can talk endlessly about their interests, they usually do not understand the back-and-forth nature of language. Often they have a huge vocabulary, but lack the ability to use it in the context of developing relationships. They may have the ability to tell you everything they know about a particular hobby or interest, but they do not wait for the appropriate responses. People with this syndrome use language to talk to others, but only on their own terms. Their language difficulties make social rules or norms harder for them to grasp.

we are meant to be an understanding society and most of the members on here have never found offende in anything hc says as we understand him and love him just how he is !!
we would not be able to discriminate against with a physical disability ! hc didnt choose to have aspergers !! so please do not discriminate against him .
hc if your lurking mate we are all behind you and hope your back soon ! i hope you dont mind me saying the above , my cousin who is 9 has aspergers and like yourself is very clever but just doesnt get she upsets people sometimes and has a heart of gold !
anyway i dont want a row with anyone and hope by the time my cousin is hc age the understanding of aspergers is better xxx

Sending hugs to everyone with medical problems.
I have a appointment with a consultant at the hospital tomorrow. I only saw someone 2 months ago, but now he is off sick, so I've got to see someone else.
In other news I still don't know when the blumin M&S sale goes to it's next stage ....and I have no where to put away the bags of vitamins I got at Boots yesterday.
Still sad about this topic missing one of it's nicest and funniest members.0 -

This was for my DH who has under active thyroid and is at risk of type 2 diabetes as FIL had it. I have chronic Urticaria and have seen an immunologist about it, have now been referred to a dermatologist who i am seeing next week. Was told though that a low carb diet may help with the skin rashes.
I dont have PCOS but did suffer with really bad endometriosis in the past which meant I had a hysterectomy at 35. The joys of being a women!!
Hope you are ok at the moment it sounds like you have a lot to cope with. xIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0
