Anyone heard of Deposit for a phone with O2? Pls Help.

What they're asking for is a deposit. As in: you'll get the money back once you've shown them that you're a good customer.

I had the same thing happen to me when I first signed up with T-Mobile. After three months of paying my bill on time and in full (direct debit, so no actual effort involved) they added the deposit as a credit on my account, which then covered the next few bills. The girl in the T-Mobile shop told me that this was standard practise for new customers as they apparently have problems with people signing contracts on expensive new handsets and then leaving the country.

I've been with them for years, and I wouldnt go any where else as they are too cheap. just check that you can get 3 in your area by clicking on the link on there website.

Hmmm I dont want them to put the £100 on my phone account, I want it back where it came from (my bank account lol)

I wont be going with O2 then
