Anyone heard of Deposit for a phone with O2? Pls Help.

What they're asking for is a deposit. As in: you'll get the money back once you've shown them that you're a good customer.
I had the same thing happen to me when I first signed up with T-Mobile. After three months of paying my bill on time and in full (direct debit, so no actual effort involved) they added the deposit as a credit on my account, which then covered the next few bills. The girl in the T-Mobile shop told me that this was standard practise for new customers as they apparently have problems with people signing contracts on expensive new handsets and then leaving the country.0 -

I've been with them for years, and I wouldnt go any where else as they are too cheap. just check that you can get 3 in your area by clicking on the link on there website.
