The OP hasn't found a way to beat the system, unless you think deliberately breaking the law is a way to beat the system.

And as for it being 'my beloved' railway, that's where you are wrong - yes I like traveling by train and yes more often than not I travel for less than the equivalent fuel would cost me (by legally playing the system) but it ain't mine nor is it my 'beloved'.

the bitterness is so apparent in your post. but to answer your question candy paid a penalty fare today without his name been taken that means his record is clear. which according to stigy, livingthedream and geordieracer hes still got his 2 lifes intact a great result

Bitter? I don't think so, I just think s/he is a bloody idiot if I'm honest.

Why pay a penalty fare (when I took the time to show it's not just twenty quid you pay) when you can just pay the fare and be done with it.
