Almost a NSD but then realised have to do school dinner money to kids.. First day and all that. But nothing extra so could be worse.
Money came through today.. Glory how easy is it to borrow money. Makes the savings account look very healthy. Pity it's not truly mine!!
Freezer meal this eve which takes the pressure off. Should get home to find that DD1 has done dinner.. Put rice on etc and warmed up stew. Here's hoping! Have done a small TT.
Over and out xxMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I am here Mrs B, well very very fleetingly at least.
Had a super quick skim and wanted to say ( all be it very very late in the day ) how amazingly your DD has done with her exams , please send her huge congrats from us all in the PG Household. Your DD2 seems pretty amazing, calling the bank all by herself ? I have just managed to get my 18year old DD1 to do that !!!
I'm afraid that I don't have time to catch up with anymore of your news this evening, I'm sorry, but I hope that you are all ok and the time flies for you when OH is awayxx

8 books decluttered. We are on our way.
One purchase today: £1.99 on huge tub of yoghurt to do with HM curry for this eve. Again not bad.
Off out to a friends house. Will be fun, so looking forward to it, and back for an early night so best of both worldsMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

A fairly productive day:
- HM ice cream on the go, more meal planning with some spends but supplementing the freezer so no bulk buys
- items put on Bay of E - last large item in house we can think we can do without so fingers crossed
- 4 clothing items decluttered, 5 books - must update sig
Will update laterMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I used to hate it when Mr SA was self employed and we had to put money aside for tax. It's far too tempting not to put anything away on a short week thinking you'll catch up another time. You've done the best you can to deal with the situation so nothing to beat yourself up about. Onwards and upwards.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks SA. Yes I have been robbing the tax pot and its caught up with me.
Had to dash earlier to make tea... 3 hungry teenagers!! (And 2 adults)
The other item was OH reusing a granite hearth we took out of the house 5 (yes,5!) years ago into paving slabs/stepping stones to try and save our grass this winter when we shlep out to hang washing and feed chooks. Total result and cost nothing :T and only took a couple of hours. V impressed by his ingenuity
Didn't go out this eve so have 'saved' £12. And OH and I are tutoring DD2 in Maths this week so 'saved' that fee. She is also stopping music lessons.. She is not really enjoying it so that's that. Money can be spent elsewhere as she does tonnes of clubs and classes..MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
