Another full on mad long day. But it's all work and more dollars and it felt like we achieved a lot...which I like and makes me feel positive

Well In domestic news DD2 has only gone out and bagged herself a job as a relief paper round girl!!! :j :j Am so impressed. She called me at 11 and said I want to go around the shops and ask whether I can get a job. Was that ok? (Too bloody right it is was what I thought (but didn't say!)) Clearly I encouraged her

and then she called me later that afternoon to say she had a trial covering someone's holiday.

Gobsmacked. She also called the bank to arrange an appointment for her ID check to get a debit card account. After baulking at doing pretty much anything for herself she has suddenly leapt ahead. Woohoo.

Hello all :wave:

Loving the weather but not sure its going to hold

DD1 did well. She now has a stonking 12 GCSEs and nothing less than a B. Sterling work. She is now planning a trip to the Big Smoke to buy a new wardrobe for Post 16...but will save £100 of her summer pay she says. I may try and encourage a bit more but its a start!

Have decluttered 6 items. Had an explosion in the larder (a bottle of prosecco exploded..such a shame

) but was an excuse to do some decluttering. Have also done some admin and done some chores like mowing the grass and changing beds (groan..)

Still need to do invoices admin and set out some new financial goals..will keep you lovely folk posted
