    Thanks SBO

Haven't been popping in as much which I am sure is linked to my spending more money.. :o all needs as such but money is racing out of the door at a terrifying rate  Luckily the pots are looking good and there is nothing on the cards but even so. Need to rein it back in where we can.

    So, today

    - made lots of onion soup for lunches next week
    - OH planted and weeded the allotment for 3 hours today. Peas have carked it but broad beans, pots, radishes, chard and butternut squash seem to be thriving. Tomatoes and cucumbers too :)
    - my first week of freelance work completed. Feel energised by it. Liking the mixture of work and sense of freedom :D
    - wore my occasion dress for a third time this weekend, and am lining it up for a fourth. Looks like will have been a good buy.
    - bought some stuff for the business today and also car insurance but searched the compare sites and hope I got the best deal

Tired now after a very busy week so heading for bed now and a good rest.

Thanks folks. Good to have you pop by, I appreciate it. Lucielle - hope you're doing well. BoF - how's tricks?

A very social weekend. Fragile this morning! Luckily kids are being looked after elsewhere :) may stick around to watch the Men's Final at a friends house..the joy of small things.

A friend has just introduced me to Li£ E@rle which she swears by, English made and if you buy online you get lots of freebies. Have to say am tempted as 1) feels good on the skin BUT critically it's cheaper than the C9arins habit and no separate eye make up remover needed

Need to meal plan for next week. Looking forward to it. Have some AF stuff to use. Will make me be inventive!

Laters - have a great weekend folks x

Hi Brizzle. I've just moved to Liz Earle and love their stuff. Cheaper than my former brand too.

Thanks FS. I will see whether it seems a good deal. Hadn't realised the A£on connection Beanie.

Good weekend. Will be back late as stayed to watch men's Wimbledon final. Awesome fight. Really thought both wanted it so much.

    Have a good week,

Quiet day today, working from home. Did pop in and see DD at school though, great to see her smiley and enjoying herself.

    Today I have

    - checked my account and seen my first regular payment go into the ISA :D
    - done some TTs
    - dinner from AF and what was in fridge..pasta and salads, basically, but everyone thought it was lush.
    - LSD..£7.50 for a school thing and £4.50 for some much needed A4 paper and a highlighter pen :rotfl:

All sounding really positive Brizzle! My cucumbers have been munched by slugs along with half the garden :( An army of caterpillars is currently working their way through the cabbage. Oh well I can't keep up with it and little one so at least someone is having a feast.
