we have been skiing (albeit on a v tight budget..£1.5k all in for 4) but spent last summer in Wales
I presume you have been debt busting more seriously for the past 8-9 months? The pages I read were from a few years back.
How have you found having a lodger? Personally, I don't think I'd appreciate having somebody else in the house but an interesting idea, nevertheless.
Skiing for £1,500? Now, you really ought to give me some tips to find cheap holidays! Mind, I have no desire to ever go skiing (snow should only be enjoyed from the relative warmth of a Land Rover with working diff lock) but if you can find the same bargains for sun / city breaks, I want to know.
A big well done for clearing 50% of the remaining credit card.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200

You really know you've grown up when you recognise a problem and tackle it head on - no excuses, no waffle, just focus. That's how I felt when we had our MF LB moment and stopped making excuses.
You are so close to clearing it now and you really are an inspiration.
My very best wishes, Tilly x x x x x x x x
