    So.

    - books returned and kids have more. I love libraries.
    - free lunch for DD1 from points from C@sta card
    - train tickets bought with family railcard so 1/3 off and delays but services running :)
    - small treat of icecreams and drinks for me and other kids...£13! But would have usually spent more in the bad old days so progress!
    - material but also other bits and bobs came to £40!! but did include thread which was badly needed and glue gun which will come in very handy. It also included red thin ribbon which I will use with brown paper as Xmas wrapping paper this year.
    - some books for Xmas bought for DN and DDs. Must stop now. Cruised for cheap bottles for HM plonk for Xmas and Pjs for DDs, but no luck. Have thought may try and do all the Xmas present and food planning stuff this week tho, it will help me budget more carefully than usual and will be a good goal to meet.
    - lodger has paid earlier then expected :D bless 'er so tucked that away against the CCs so should be a good day on Weds when I can do the scores in the doors :D scheduled to be under £7k:T
    - heating still off :) but woodburner on every day. At least it's burning free wood :D
    - easy peasy tea this eve of fish fingers, green beans, baked beans and chunky chips. Cant wait! Kids requested fish and chips and that's what they will have without the expense ;)

Watching the Ebay like a hawk..as would like things to increase by another £50 but we shall see.

    Hope everyone is OK

    X

Hi brizzle :) Sounds like a lovely and productive few days you have had there.

Not to worry on the run - if you'd seen my pace you would question whether it *is* an actual run :rotfl::rotfl: :o

Good luck on the sales - i am just the same and need to ban myself for checking to see if there have been any more bids :o

    Hi all

    Thanks for dropping by.

Today we think we will make sleighs as la Mrs Tilly and go swimming this eve. We also have a dr's appt for DD2. I also need to tidy the house! I think I will use up food from the freezer for dinner to make it easy or just jacket potatoes. Meal planning has gone a bit awry as we have so many use ups!! Not a bad thing and certainly cuts down on cooking time.

Costumes done for 2 kids yesterday. They look great. In the end the wonder web and an iron saved a whole load of sewing hems and drawstrings for cloaks :D Just one more to go, probably today.

Heating still not on. Well it was last night for 20 whole minutes before OH turned it off again:rotfl: he makes me laugh!

TTs done and spreadsheets ready to be updated. Can just hear kids waking up ..can't they just lie in on the holidays whilst their mum cruises MSE diaries??? ;)

    so..update..

    - OH has moved PCs about so no easily available spreadsheets but as an interim update its OK - the MB8A card is below £2k - WHOOP
    - sleighs look fab. DDs and DN v v pleased :D
    - small spends eg. key cutting
    - soup for lunch and food from freezer for tea :)
    - another bid on EBay
    - mountain of washing put away and house much much tidier - BIG news is that DD1 is tidying her room..quelle horreur..c'est extraordinaire (suspect thats not good French but you know what I mean :rotfl:)
    - bad news is that DD1 has spent over £50 over her contract on internet usage..streaming at home thinking she was on wifi..AAGGH. but at least as OH said the EBay sales make up for it but 1 step forward and 2 back. Good job OH spent some of the weekend extending our wifi - before we knew this - but at least it shoulddnt happen again. I was a bit narked that T@lkmobile said that they couldn't bar her usage - they can put in a guidance level but not an absolute bar. Was surprised but dont have the energy to argue (for once!).

Oh no DD1 that's not good, bless her. Can she not turn off the 3g thing? I used to be able to do that with one of my old phones.

I'm off to find some peat disks and plant some of those seeds from the kits, I shall update you as to whether they survive, then you can have them half of them. I'll do two sets :)

You angel :) thanks so much.

You need to change your name!! You are now kerri DF..it makes me smile every time I read a post. You've done so well:)

Re DD1. She doesn't use the internet away from home altho she does have a 500MB Pm limit within the monthly contract (which in total includes minutes etc costs £8.50 so have been happy to pay). It's that she has been streaming blooming Youtub@ at home.. She hasn't been using the unlimited wireless we have ...probably as it weakens before it gets to her room....GGRRR..

She knows now how to check that it's on wifi and has been an angel all day. So some respite.

How about it being debt-free-wowser! :D

Poor DD1 I bet she felt quite bad for that. I need to find something to extend out wifi, it dies as soon as I get to the kitchen...which is probably why I don't cook as much as I should as all the recipes are al la interwebs. Do you have any recommendations on products?
