Not a bad day yesterday and as I have some fuel in the tank should be a NSD today.

Yesterday was £3.77 income from the panels. £2.50 on bread and rolls and £20 on drinks at a party but that was it. Girls also cleaned my car...not perfect but a drawn sight better than it was! I had toyed with the idea of a sending it to a car wash but then decided I could press gang the kids!;)

It's ( my domestic economy!) is certainly getting better! Still not sure what my OP will be for the month, but it's been pretty healthy so far. I now have some photos for the stuff I want to ebay so it's just the listing to sort now, groan! :(

Expecting a social day today with friends which will be nice..but must grab some fruit and salad from the allotment first, would be horrendous to let it go to waste!

Thanks DFW..how are you? Haven't popped in for a while..must rectify that straight away!

I have been analysing some of our spends and see we are on £410 for groceries, alcohol, school dinners, pet food etc etc. I set myself a target for £600 all in for the month for 5 of us so looking good. It has included a couple of small gatherings (!) we hosted as well as some wonderful fruit so am pleased with that so far.

    So today..

    - cooked a huge dinner of roast pork ( orange stickered) with lots of veggies. Felt completely shattered afterwards but was yum and we ate in the garden. Also had HM rhubarb chutney with it! Lush!
    - HM gooseberry fool..fruit from the allotment!
    - panels did well..some cloud but all ok.. Maybe £3.50 or so
    - Tilly Tidies and hoping for work expenses and van hire to run through quickly
    - analysis of Money&hiz interesting and the idea of a fast going pretty well...we do need to scrutinise more..we do seem to still leak money but 7 NSDs is good for us..especially as neither OH or I are allowed to spend for it to count as a NSD
    - have just given DD1 money for a school trip...wonder whether I will see any change!

    Think that's it. Adios!

    So today..

More money on fuel..boo. £50. OH also spent some money on a costume for a event we have to go to in August. BT bill came in..we need food...so usual story. Big spends, as well as DD1 off on a school trip.

No hum. Keeping up with M@neywhizz and hoping to still make a similarly large OP at end of July..but getting more of a stretch now:o

Tired. Another early start tomorrow:( Feel a bit low but will no doubt pick up...:)
