Found this through my door this morning:

After having a good chuckle at it, I sent this to Rossendales via their online email form. I await their reply with some anticipation!

Firstly I feel compelled to thank you for waking me this afternoon from what was proving to be quite a pleasant lay in. Please apologise to your bailiff, "L Morley - Bailiff In Charge" (of what, precisely?) on my behalf. I just could not bring myself to come to the door from my warm, cosy bed.
I write mainly however to compliment you on the wording of your "BAILIFF REMOVAL" letter.
Firstly by "CLEAR FUNDS" do you mean the debt must be paid to you in transparent cash? I am not familiar with this term. Do you perchance mean CLEARED FUNDS? (I write in capitals as a reciprocation in kind). Obviously the two have quite different meanings.
The BALANCE DUE IN FULL is listed as "x2 WARRANOJ". This is not a monetary amount I am familiar with in the English currency system, or any used by Crown Dependencies. Perhaps you could elaborate?
I would also be interested to learn how L Morley would be removing goods in my absence, given he seems to lack a possession order, and has yet to gain peaceable entry to my property (I do apologise once more for not having the inclination to leave my lovely bed to answer the door at 1pm this afternoon). Any entry he does gain will be far from peaceable, of that I can assure you.
I do trust you all had a lovely Christmas period. I look forward with earnest gusto round two with Luke. Do send him again! I will do my best to be awake on the next occasion.

I had these muppets pushing things through my letter box a few years ago. They gave up when I refused to play ball.
I can remember them being equally as bad.0 -
"x2 WARRANOJ"
It's obvious this isn't what has been written, it's just the handwriting.
Do you owe them money? If so maybe you should be concentrating less on pedantic, idiotic emails and more on resolving the issues at hand. If they are visiting you at your address then is that because a payment plan hasn't been agreed or you have buried your head in the sand?0 -
Council tax does not have a procedure for issuing a distress warrant. It should be '2 x liability order'
Distress warrants are for unpaid court fines.
I would guess the bailiff is trying a fees scam because executing a distress warrant is £275.00, a council tax liability order is £24.50.0 -
And the bill will just go up and up,
You and your antics are actually adding to the cost of my council tax.
Why would anyone think it is funny is beyond me.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
It quite clearly says WARRANOJ.
And no arcon5, I do not owe them money. So I feel quite happy to concentrate on sending pedantic, idiotic emails to them.
I apologise wholeheartedly for you lacking a sense of humour.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Matt: Interesting. Thanks for that. I wasn't actually aware of that.
McKneff: I'm offended. You should know me better than thatStarting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

you have a right plank!0 -
The name on the letter isn't the previous tenant, so I can only assume it to be the tenants prior to the previous occupants.
Rossendales have an horrendous reputation, both on here and the internet in general, and on behalf of all those people they have harassed, bullied, or assaulted previously, I figured I'd have a little fun with them. I do not condone not paying council tax (or any other debt for that matter - as per my signature I have been debt free since 2009).. so any occupants of high horses, please feel free to ride on out the way you came in.
It's for amusement only. If you are not amused, then there is no need to participate!Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j
