Liz can I ask if you can make 7 night europe bookings online ? or does it have to be a 3/4 double booking ?
if so I'd need 2 priority codes I guess to do so ?
could I ask to be held in mind for the extra code ? :o
I have emailed the sun to ask for an extra code or how does the 7 day bookings go
    many thanks

You Don't need 2 Codes to book 7 nights in Europe, it's a standard option. I went to Europe last year and you only have to make one booking.

gosh I must have missed the 7 day tick box... will be more careful this time
yes I will update the first as quite rightly its a pain otherwise
and if the last code is not found the night before I will be up an out to get my newspaper super early
sorry but I'll will quite selfishly make my booking first before I post it out though ... once I posted first and lost the holiday I wanted
and last year I went online to help a friend and the online booking was crashed around 8am

the excitement is building and my 6 yr old is persuing the sun brochure picking parks
I think in addition to the france one I want I might go for a pontins 9.50 only break and keep the costs down for , no upgrade .. just a quick break
and then later on in the year we will just go for a butlins pre christmas break which was lovely at bognor last yr

    Hi Lil Lady

You can tell me to mind my own business, but I just wanted to say that Pontins are so cheap because they are in a form of administration and haven't updated their parks since the 70's, so they are rather grotty. Just thought I would mention it, as they have the most appalling reviews on some holiday websites. For the sake of £38, it could may be worth a gamble, but just be a little prepared for very outdated accommodation.

I got my priority booking reference in the post, and my first code was also 'FREE', I just want to thank everyone on here that posts the codes as it makes such a huge difference to be able to holiday with my hubby and children each year, we are on such a tight budget (like many people), so it definately helps. I'm going away in May (booked last year) to Haven Devon Cliffs - not been there before as we always tend to choose a Parkdean which have always been very good. I'm hoping this time to maybe get a Fri-Mon deal in October half term, only then have to take the kids out on a Fri, one day won't hurt. Not done Butlins before, so hoping for Minehead.

I am interested in going for a European holiday next year, would like to try and do Disney, has anyone done that? I believe there is a couple of parks in Paris.

Same here-we'd like to do the European holidays next year too.
We did Haven last year and are hoping to do Parkdean this year.

yes we've been to pontins before and I am still mulling it over
we go everywhere and our budget is tight, so I'll be checking sites for reduced tickets, discounts etc in the area we go to
I did La croix de vieux pont twice which was nice .. I'll just paste here now what I wrote on another site to answer someone else
we have been here twice , good mix of people german, dutch, spanish
we use the sun holidays booking it totalled approx £60 , the ferry cost £40 approx as I booked asap
we used a map search and travelled the back roads not using any tolls
the petrol we filled up 4 times - its a small car that takes approx £35

its a good distance from disney so be warned leave early
I did sandwiches etc the night before ... we got up washed dressed thrown into the car and off asap
ate fruit and sandwiches for brekkie on our way and got there in good time ... its about an hours drive
take a change of clothes ... food is expensive in disney and dont forget the car park charge !
I bought tickets from france via search and the disney tickets were £29 each

its also close to chateu pierrefonds ( they shoot merlin there) but the pool at the camp is fun
kids will spend all day there and its covered so great in bad weather
the local cora supermarket is in soissons a 10 min drive

there is no TV in the caravans !!! we took 2 laptops with dvds for the kids ,nintendo ds
    and coloring books

there is no night time entertainment like the british camps .. there is the bar, few machines ... occasionally a kids disco but err thats it ...
but we made friends easily and we really enjoyed ourselves, took a dvd or 2 for us and the bar sells
daily internet access for 5 euros, so you can go online at the bar area
so I'd been checking emails on my laptop & the little one with her new friends round her would watch scooby doo on the other !
this is all info I wished I had been told before I came the first time
take one of those mini fans, cos if its hot like it was one year we went 30d+ it makes a difference.

both times I got my codes and checked the internet for when the last code word was broken by die hard sun holiday fans usually the day before its issued and managed to book dates for july when school had just finished - about the 19th

That is really helpful! An hour drive to Disney is good too, for some reason I thought it would be longer - definately worth looking into next year. :D

Kelzabells, if we book for October half term we are thinking of the Paris sites for Disney.
We have only been on one European holiday,- to duinerell in holland last July. It was fab!
We are going back in May this year but booked direct as we wanted a week rather than the Sun 3 and 4 nighters.
Also, we went to Devon Cliffs last October with the Sun. It's a really lovely site, and if we decide to stay in the UK for this round of hols, we may well try for there again.

We have been to Duinrell with the sun for the past two years and are hoping to go again this year. We always tick the 7 night option when booking. We have gone in May both times for future reference. I have been going to Duinrell for 30 years now since I was a child we love it :)
