We'll be arriving on the 20th, just for 3 nights, couldnt get 7......... See you there  Oh I do hope it doesn't rain! Lol.

Wow, I really want to go this park next year, as I have been looking into finally doing a France trip so the kids can go to Disney, the park looks fantastic with the most amazing reviews on tripadvisor. My only worry is the drive from Calais to the park near Paris, me and hubby are useless with directions, and on Google Maps it keeps mentioning toll roads - are these expensive?

You can avoid the toll roads but it will take you longer to get there. Driving in France is much easier than the UK as the roads are far less congested. Just remember to look to the left at roundabouts rather than the right

The toll will cost you approximately 3 Euros from Calais to Paris, you can check here

  • 3 Euro's isn't too bad, I thought it was going to be much worse than that. Having 2 younger kids I think for time schedules and 3 hours of 'Are we nearly there yet', I would probably bite the bullet and pay the toll. LOL. Thank you for your help. :D

One thing, if you are booking a ferry, don't book it with the Sun, they quote £40 but the quote I had for the times I wanted was £70. If you use the Norfolk Line Ferry to Dunkirk it will cost you a maximum of £58.00 return and you can get 7% cashback if you go through topcashback

£58 maximum return?? Checked the site and it's nearer to £84 return.....even using the cheapest crossing on each day it's coming in at £64. Guess it depends what time of year you are going.

Though I much prefer the crossing from Dover to Dunkirk and think the boat and facilities are much better than P&O crossing to Calais.

What date did you look at?

Saturday 7th July is quoting at between £25-£29 and return on Wednesday 18th July is quoting the same, night ferries £25 and peak time at £29.00. I imagine it might be higher in the school holidays though!

Edit - Just checked the school holidays and it does come in at more, still cheaper than P&O though and worth looking at before you book with the Sun!
