Hi all, I posted on Tues about the problem I had with my booking: money had been taken but no email confirmation at all and no on-screen confirmation at the time of booking, I was just re-directed back to the home page!

Anyway I've just called The Sun on this number: 08442458099 and got straight through to a guy who confirmed the booking and the dates straight away and said that the holiday park would send out confirmation within 14 days. (I booked Cambrils Park in Spain) so for those having probs with bookings maybe try and call the number as they seem to be taking a while to reply to emails!

hi have just been on the sun website with my priority booking form and used a couple of the words off here as i was a few short and it keeps saying the words are not valid please help

The only two words not from the newspaper were free & glow, and you can only use one of them at a time - try replacing with grey.

Phone the Sun's number 08442458099 and see what they say. I just phoned and got my priority booking number changed, as the one they originally sent by email didn't work.

When i got my confirmation from Butlins, it states in the sun leaflet attatchment that if freinds want to book the same break, they can through your booking at the same cost. try this! (the wish you were here bit at the bottom of the page)

I have booked 7 nights 16th July. I booked in a rush. I am happy with choice now but at first I thought what have a done. I have been on Sun holidays before but not at peak times or for 7 nights.

My first thought after booking (when managed to get passed payment page) was is £120 (excluding the extra bits) too much for just two people? I then thought it is during peak time and will have the extra space etc.

I then had to get flights sorted. They seemed to go up in the hour since looking. The days didn't work out well as flights at 11pm. I calmed down and found flights from another airport, slightly further from us but flights cheaper and better times. I booked and did not even try to avoid card fees. Not very MSE but did not want them to go up again.

Just car hire to sort out now.

To all those who wanted pontins i got an email from them offering discount
with code EMBC for 4 night and 3 night breaks only mon - fri / fri- mon
searched camber sands club 2 bedroomed for 4 people (2 teenagers different sex) so separate sleeping rooms 30th july (HIGH SEASON) priced at over £700 when putting discount code in where it says NET in a box and went through all the usual extra windows amount in party type of accommodation etc the price came in at £125 CANNOT believe it needless to say booked for Deposit of £50 anyone going to the olympics its a fantastic cheap base to go

My holiday is up for sale, unfortunately I can't go now . I booked 7 nights at Vilanova in Spain from 29th June, only looking to get back the £120 I paid for it
