I have a spare SUN priority ref. number if anyone wants it and can tell me how I email it to them.
Please can anyone give me codes for LOCAL NEWSPAPER £10 HOLIDAY PROMOTION -I cant get the paper where I live! Am desperate to book Minehead weekend of 20th April to join my family on holiday. Any ideas? Cant get through the sun or daily mail and cant afford full whack!0 -
hiya we went here last june as wanted to take kids to disneyland cant recommend park enough loads to do during day bouncing castle, go karts, canoes, pedlos etc only thing i found little disappointing was the evening entertainment which was non exisent in 10 nights we were there only had a kids disco on once which my 2 love goin too and not much to do in bad weather.
the drive for us from calais to the park was a nitemare for us out sat nav packed up and direction the park sent us were useless however we figured the park lay between soissons and campigion so quickly found our way about i.e if we got lost headed to soissons and then followed signs to compegion probs not the quickest way to do things but stopped us being lost all night. The toll road costs about 15 euros all in from calais to the park but this was taking the most direct route ther main roads are great its when u start goin through the little towns village to reach the park it gets harder. defo worth doing tho to see kids faces at disney so good luck hope u enjoy it
Thank you very much for your information and input, the drive from Calais does worry me a little as our sat nav doesn't cover Europe, only UK, and its so old now, it doesn't even do that very well - all newish builds are non existant on it! lol. May have to see if we can get an upgraded software for it.
The park does look great and I love the pedelos and the pool from what I have seen on the internet. The hour drive to Disney is quite good too, and I imagine that is pretty well signposted?
I think we will definately try and give this a go next year. We have our holiday's booked up for 2012 already, got 2 seperate 1 week holidays and 2 long weekends, plus looking to move house by August so this year could prove a very expensive one. :beer:Whoever said 'Money doesn't bring happiness' isn't using it properly.0 -

As you have received a priority code you will be on The Sun's system, so you can phone them and request your code, and they e-mail it to you.Whoever said 'Money doesn't bring happiness' isn't using it properly.0 -

They should tell you over the phone, they did for mine. :j0 -

I get the Western Gazette (local paper in Somerset) every week - the first password from last week is BEACH and another will be out this Thursday - it takes ages to collect them (nine in all) as it's only a weekly paper but some weeks they publish more than one password. Book via breakfreeholidays .co.uk /local (sorry had to break it up as can't post links as a new user!) or you can register on the site in advance. If you make it to Minehead I highly recommend 'The Hairy Dog' pub in the main shopping street (turn left off the promenade) on the left as you walk into town away from the sea- good family favourite food - it's massive inside but split up so it's still cosy and out the back there's a fantastic play area for the kids - my ten year old had as much fun there as in Butlins itself!0 -
Although your holiday price is based on a minimum of 4 people you don't have to pay for four on everything - when I go there's usually only two or three of us so I always ring up when I get the booking details from the camp itself and reduce whatever I can.0

Hi, has anyone on here managed to upgrade with either park dean or park resorts. I'm still awaiting my allocation as its my first time using sun holidays but woyld like to know peoples experiences, would like heating as i've a young baby and to be in a caravan that hasnt had dogs in as my husband is allergic. I know there are other ways round this. i.e portable heaters, but would make life easier if i could upgrade.
The sites ive picked are:
eyemouth
sundrum
barmston beach
skipsea sands
Ive also chosen auchenlarie but this is an independent park.0
