Didn't work for me this morning! I went to my local store and there were lots of shots and cheap vitamins so I decided to get 15 each.

    Put in my basket:

    15 shots
    12 vitamins 79 p each
    3 Ricola
shower gels/handwash/ N7 lip balm - all worth around £12

    Total was £33.36

I told SA, "I left my card in my other coat I was wearing yesterday ", she was lovely, even offered to keep my basket for me until evening (bless her), I left feeling guilty she had to take back that pile of vitamins back to the shelves...

I think the glitch has been fixed but it might be store specific so hope it still works for others!

Hants_Panda - can you work out your receipt to see what it's changed to? A rough guess is that it's now one free shot per 3 vitamins so you were charged an extra £20.

The OP may have been a one post wonder but what a fantastic post! It's been so much fun trying to work out the glitch, seeing how many shots you can buy at one time, seeing how long the receipts but best of all, seeing the SAs faces when they saw the savings. But all good things must come to an end. Here's to the next glitch.

I know this will sound daft but in what way has the glitch been fixed...

Im assuming its no longer giving credit....

My question is what happens if you get 6 or 12 shots on there own....the 342 should still kick in as thats not the glitch and the offer for the free shot should still kick in as again that wasnt the glitch.....my line of thinking is that the shots may still be free if you get them on there own with no vits......

I cant test to try this out as at work all day...maybe some kind sole could give it a try.....excuse any typos as using my phone....

The Ricolas are on offer at £1 from £1.45 but the 3 for 2 kicks in on the full price . You save an extra 45p per 3 you buy so, she was charged correctly according to the glitch, So a further 90p saving on you workings, Gazza!!:D

Ahh thats it - thanks :-)

Shots were only free with vitamins, so you'll have to pay for 2 of the 3 shots. They were also on 5for4, so possibly if you bought 12 you might get 6? off (3for2 x 4, 5for4 x 2) but you'll have to pay for the rest.

They have probably fixed it so the discounts dont 'mount up', i.e. you cant have more than one special offer on top of another, or changed it so that its only 1 shot free with vitamins.

    Gary.

I had been getting shots on there own when there wasnt any vitamins and was getting them free in 6 or 12's without buying anything else..

On no, I've had just got shots if I'd have realised because they were what I really wanted, you can only have so many vitamins:rotfl::rotfl:
