    Probably a daft question but does it work on dearer vitamins too? My poor old dog is now on cod liver oil but was going to look for glucosamite too. Poor thing struggles in this weather so I'd like to stock up. I'm sure my Boots only had the more expensive brands.

    Hi my merrywidow, I will get round to looking at your PM when I get in, am supposed to be working not Bootsing
    Oh well at least it's not tesco'ing for a a change

    So one further question if I may
    If my local has no cheapie vits and I get 6 ricola sweets per 6 shots how much does that give you off your shopping?
    Ps caz were you a maths teacher or accountant before the baby??!

    Lots of shots in the big town centre Boots in Che/msf0rd but hardly anything to go with it! I'm afraid I've had the last box of Ricola and the last Omega 3 oil!

    Shots = £11.94
    Vits = £8.70
    Free shot = -£11.94
    342 vits = -£2.90
    342 shots = -£3.98
    544 shots = -£1.99
    Ricola disc = -£2.70
    Total = -£2.87

    Nope, not a maths teach or an accountant but my degree had a high maths element plus I love spreadsheets - as a programmer I used them a fair bit when I was starting out (macros, VBA code, conditional formatting etc etc). In a nutshell, closet maths geek but not quite good enough to make a living from it so I went into IT instead :cool:

    Just a quick note: if you cannot find shots on the usual vitamins shelves, don't despair as they could be stocked by the tills ( SA's give them to customers who buy vitamins but don't know about a current offer). I saw lots of shots in Fa***am store downstairs by the pharmacy tills.

    HTH :)

    It seems half the Tesco thread people are over here now :rotfl:

    Now did I imagine it, or was there some talk of the tibes of fizzy vitamin tablets maybe working, in the green and silver tubes, INSTEAD of the shots?

    For example 6 of the tubes of fizzy revitalsing vitamins, and 6 of the cheap vitamins? Anyone tried it yet?

    Nope, not tried it. I'm stuck in the house waiting for Citylink and filling in my time by making spreadsheets! I guess I should really email the info to myself for reference :rotfl:

    Well that was a wasted trip. I saw the sign up saying free shot with vitamins so asked the assistant who took it down and said that this offer had been withdrawn and there were no shots anywhere, oh well lol
