6 shots and 6 packs of sweets gives you £2.8x (think it is £2.87 but the receipt is confusing to say the least) off the rest of your shopping.

In my store, the sweets were on a huge stand with other items saying "reduced to £1" (they were reduced from £1.45, so when you buy three, Boots in their logic give you the .45p discount off the free one in the 3 for 2, so you "pay" £1.55 for 3 packs).

i tried. I don't think they work but can't be sure that they haven't just caught on and stopped glitch cos no shots in store to try today. :mad:

I've enjoyed every minute of trying to work out the maths behind this. I hate glitching and not knowing exactly what I'm doing but I have to say, Boots have some weird multi-saves, link saves and ways of discounting products. Not complaining though as it's saved me a fortune.

My 18 shots receipt is 33" long - ok so part of it is a survey but still!

Believe it or not, I found the receipts totally confusing but once you get your head round how Boots break the receipt up into multi-saves, 3 for 2s, linked saves and plain old saves, you can build a picture of how the glitch is working.

Fingers crossed I get out tomorrow. Not really interested in the 75% sale (fully stocked on Body Shop) but hopefully if the sale is on the SAs will be well enough distracted Could do with some shaving gel for my dad and you can never have enough baby wipes!
