EXPIRED Boots Vitamins Discount Error
Comments
-
well i have been to boots got 6 shots and 6 ricolas and 2 radox bubble bath and there was a NO7 gift set for £5 and i had a £5 voucher...
voucher would not scan as it was a gift set!!!
so asked her to void the gift set ran and got some impulse just so it would not be a negative as it said -83p for the bubble bath and shots and ricolas the sa was not happy so took me to another till and then decided just to give me the shots and not scan them through so ended up paying £9.10 for 6 shots, 6 ricolas, 5 impulse and 2 bubble bath.
i think i might give up with this one as een though i am really happy getting the bits a lot cheaper and free shots and vitamins.. i am spending more than i should all in one go on getting bits lol0 -
So I had a bit of a tidy and seeing as everyone is posting pics...
36 Vit C
2 Garlic (accident as I thought they were omega 3)
13 Omega 3
11 Cod liver oil
13 Multivits
46 Revitalise shots
40 Re-energise shots
3 Herb Ricolas (eww!)
6 Orange Ricola
9 Lemon Ricola
Doesnt include the ones I've given away...Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Well done. Puts some stashes to shame :T0 -
It seems half the Tesco thread people are over here now :rotfl:
Now did I imagine it, or was there some talk of the tibes of fizzy vitamin tablets maybe working, in the green and silver tubes, INSTEAD of the shots?
For example 6 of the tubes of fizzy revitalsing vitamins, and 6 of the cheap vitamins? Anyone tried it yet?
These were on the pharmacy counter when I went in today for another soiree! free when you buy any vitamin, I daren't ask for them because.....
I had a bit of an embarrassing moment at the till!
no cheap vits so picked up 1 x garlic caps, 5 x ricola sweets and 6 shots........calcs were wrong and I got negative 33p come up on till , matey was looking at the till baffled as I quickly grabbed a pack of nurofen to bring my balance up to £1.62!:D:cool:
so for every 3 Ricola you "buy" it gives you a further £1.34 off the balance, so this is what you wanna buy to get maximum discount!!:T:T"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

I can't get the Cost after discounts cell to work. Had a look at your formulae and there's a function which would help you called ROUNDDOWN. I used it in mine to work out the 5 for 4 discount.
=ROUNDDOWN(D25/5,0)*-1.99
Basically it rounds down the number of shots divided by 5 towards 0 so you get whole numbers that you can then multiply. HTH0 -

it works aslong as you dont put in more than 15 shots..... (i was never going to attempt more than 15)

Can I ask what are the use-by dates on the vitamins generally? Is it about a year?0
