no i never bought the vitamins because there was not any did get all the shots free and 1.99 off other shopping so it shows you do not have to buy vitamins!!!


but on other hand to get best out of deal you do only reason i never is there was no vitamins under a £1 left in my store

Thought the game was up in my local this morning, I got another lot of 6 along with other items, said scanned other items first as I had put them on top, when she got to vits and shots she said "Oh hold on there was a problem with these things the other day, I just need to go and ask.." when she got back she said they were scanning incorrectly the other day but it's now fixed, she scanned them through as I was preparing my best "Oh I've forgotten my card" routine but the glitch still worked fine! Lol

I also think we may be pushing the price of vits up, the multivits had an sel of £1.05 when last week they were 79p...

Just mocked up a quick table showing the figures. The graphic shows 2 tables, with the vitamin price in the top left cell, the number of shots & vitamins you buy in one transaction along the top and the bottom row then shows how much it will cost.

No it doesnt make a difference, but DONT scan the vitamins and the shots all first because the till will show negative before the rest of the items are added on!!!

Note: You'll only get a negative from the vits and shots (i.e. a discount on the rest of your shopping) if the vitamins are less than 99p. If you get 3x shots and 3x 99p vits they will be free, but 3x shots and 3x 79p vits will result in a minus. Best to get some other stuff you need anyway to disguise the discount, and make sure its enough so it doesnt look suspiciously low!!

Just did 6x shots and 6x vits (3 @ 79p and 3 @ 99p) and around other £20 of shopping (which was all either 3for2 or half price) and the total was £17.87.

To distract the SA, I asked if she knew when the 1/2 price sale was going to 75% off and she said "im not supposed to tell you... but tomorrow"!! I cant guarantee that but its what she said!

Yes they will be free if you buy 3x £1.99 shots and 3x 99p vits but no minus (discount on other items bought). If you did 6 of each you'd get a £1.99 discount due to 5for4 on shots coming in to play.

With 79p vits the discount off other shopping a lot bigger, but with any vitamins they'd still be pretty cheap, just not free / negative.

I now know where I went wrong and why one lot cost 3p and next lot cost 63p. I picked up 5 fish oil and 1 odourless garlic extract! :eek: looks nearly identical.
