EXPIRED Boots Vitamins Discount Error

feeling really rough and full of flu this morning. had to go to the bank so had to go out. Went to boots but only found 3 shots so got 3 vitamins. Picked up a packet up ibuprofen and went to ss till. Was expecting to pay some pennies. But no balance -0.04:eek:.

thought gave you 21p of shopping not 41p. Gave me 4p change. took it and ran quick.

on other thread someone suggesting can take points back. Going to spend mine tomorrow:D

Just been down and all was fine. Chose a young SA at the pharmacy part, as they tend to be less interested in store issues. But a male SA , keen to impress the young pretty female SA, came to hold the bag while she put them in. He pulled a few faces as he watched the totals drop - but said nothing.

Only 12 left in my store, and most of the cheap vits had gone - so went for the £2.05 multi vits.

Also didn't realise dettoll hand wash were half price, and had a £3 off coupon on me - so its helped push the total up, slightly.

I've used a spare boots card and quickly accumulated around £10 of points in 2 days. Was hanging on till the 75% off sale to spend them, but i did cross my mind they could claw them straight back.

Mine as not stocked any more shots or cheap vits since Wednesday.

Worked fine for me yesterday in two Boots both with manned tills - bought some other stuff as well that I needed, but both SAs just said that's good all that stuff for £.........Was with OH who wasn't keen on me trying it but even he was impressed. Can't often avail myself of a glitch as I'm usually too late so very pleased. No way would I pay £1.99 for those shots though.

Romford- Liberty store had restocked on the 79p vits but have now run out of shots.

Also still working in Sunderland today but had to search for the shots as they weren't with the vitamins...one shelf had 5 near the pharmacy and found another with 4 near the shampoo;)

No self scan tills but went through the manned tills and got a few other things - total spend £7.06 total saving £24.51

i asked today as they had only restocked a couple of the vitamins and only had 2 shots left...was told they dont manually order stuff but wait until stock reaches zero and it automatically reorders iitself - very bizarre/stupid system as once it reaches zero there will be at least a day where there is no stock...thus reducing sales ( i know in this instance we're not paying for the items, but in general its a rubbish system!)....

i was told that i could order them into store from the internet, pay for them then return them and rebuy them...but far too much hassle for me!

Just got another 12 shots in my local, both shots and vitamins were stocked up but no m ore than 3 of the 79p multivitamin and vit C's on the shelf, however shelf had been empty of everything since wednesday, got 3 of each and three omega 3 99p and 3 chewy vits for the kiddies instead, 2 lovely flower brooches reduced to £2.50 each and 3 more listerine, total came to just over £5
Again the till wouldn't accept my 200 points when buying three dental products anyone else had this, embarrassing moment where I had to fold up my receipt and take it to be manually added at the main till

Drat totally forgot about the ricola sweets
Got home and got the kids to help with putting all vitamins into less boxes , moaned they smelt of poo lol!DS1 refused to eat the chewy ones and he is the one who needs them most, spat most of it out grrrrrr!! Kids!!!!
