haven't been trouted but have chatted to SA's and been friendly so have distracted them. Yesterday SA, looked surprised at balance but had already been chatting about the blusher i'd bought. I am going to try the SS tills though as don't want to be trouted. Two stores i'd been to had not had ss.

Really have appreciated the OP for this one. Have stocked up on presents etc and will really have helped through the year.

And for anyone who thinks i'm greedy, no prospect of a wage rise any year so, on 18k and saving to buy a flat ..... in london:eek:

How old is dd and friends? Coz the shots say on the back not suitable for under 16 yrs on the ones I got. Prob because of the high caffeine I guess.

Thank you - I hadn't noticed that.

They are all 15 or 16 so I'm sure it will be fine.

The OP said they didn't have caffeine in, but I must admit I haven't read the label yet. Do both types have caffeine in?

No, only the re-energise ones have caffeine, the revitalize areally caffeine free.

Thank you Caz, that was why she noticed a problem as she was scanning - it had nothing to do with the deal although I did expect a problem at this point there was nothing I could do about it. If there were 6 shots on the shelf I would have got 6 of each and my other things and when I went to the till I would have given her the other things to scan first....unfortunately when I asked if they had more shots that's when she piped up that I only get 1 per 3 vits and started scanning. In hindsight I could have just had 3 but she was the type to scrutinise everything and still would probably have noticed!

I think you are referring to me and that's not what happened. As HO had told them to put the offer through as it was, the SA sold me the other things first and charged me as normal. Then she did a separate transaction for the vits and shots which came out negative.I was not expecting change! They had been told to process it this way and that's what happened.

I hope this clears it up! We are all capable of messing up from time to time but as we see here there are a lot of unexpected situations that arise and maybe I didn't explain myself very well. My goal is always to stay under the radar and I did think they weren't going to sell me the things at all but good on them they did, and they processed it as they were told to by HO.

I always chat too - distracts them AND makes them less likely to want to cause a fuss.

If there are no shots on the vitamins isle make, sure you have a look elsewhere. I was about to walk the first time, but found them stocked up on 2 different isles no-where near the vitamins.

Anyone been this morning?

I have developed a good line in chit chat and that always helps,I think some SA's are quite bored and are thankful for a bit of conversation.

I looked around for more shots yesterday and only asked when I absolutely had to but maybe in bigger stores they have mores stock. Also the cheap vitamins tend to be spread out over different aisles so worth a hunt for those too.

Finger's crossed for those trying today, may be easier on a busy Saturday
