If I want an iPhone4, but can't really justify the expense, what other smartphone?
Ok, so up to now i have just had a standard mobile phone to make calls & send the odd text , and an ipod touch (2nd gen) for music & appts. Never got around to using it for emails, keep meaning to. I've used a iPad now & then too
DH has an iPhone 4 and I love it, but really can't justify the cost. I use the phone for my business, but need to keep costs down this year.
I have no experience at all of other smartphones, so don't know where to begin, or what to look at first. Haven't got a clue about Android in the least.
Where would you smart people suggest I start looking?
Budget is as small as I can get for around 100 mins calls and (I'm guessing ) 500 mb data a month, with a lowish upfront for the phone itself.
Thanks in advance guys.

I have got a Sony Xperia. Its a brilliant Android phone. Best I have had in a loooooooooooooooooong time. I had Raspberry before but had issues with its software. Have had LG and Samsung but cant recommend Sony enough. I too would like to get an Iphone but cant justify exense to The Oracle (she who must be obeyed). I do know people who have Raspberry for work and swear by it. You could approach mobile suppliers and see what deals are about. Some are crying out for customers but nowadays you are no better off being on a pay monthly contract as you are pay as you go. See what deals are about for both. Any good comany will accomodate you to suit your needs/budget and not the other way round. Steer clear of Phones4U (bad experience and cr4py customer service). Good luck.0
