My lawn is very boggy and prone to moss in the winter, it really need regular work like scarifying and spiking. It also had thistles popping up so needs weed & feed.
I have been thinking about getting Green Thumb in to lookafter it, has anyone had any experience of this company ?xxxdxxx

Good evening I have had experience of this company and it was a bad one. Not treating the lawn when they said they had, not turning up as arranged etc. We now employ Greensleeves they have been brilliant. Hope this helps.Remember every waking moment is a chance to turn it all around.;) Knowledge is the key to respect.

I use them as does 10 or so friends of mine and they are great!
They turn up on time tell you about what they are doing and if they think you need to use several different treatments, as i did, they told me that it'd be cheaper to do one of them myself, where to buy it from and which brand to use.
It might depend on where you live so maybe ask around locally.0 -
My mum used this service and was happy with it. I remember also them saying there wasn't anything they could do for the front lawn to improve it any further (because of a number of trees which have protection orders on) so they suggested only treating the back lawn.Make £5 per day in August= £100/£155
Paid MS- £5+ £10 GR, £5 RE, £15 MS
£65 ebay profit
Waiting on payment- E160 BAI

You are welcome. I have to say I think Laurz is right it might just depend on who runs the franchise I guess it's like anything there are some good ones and some that are not so good.
Hope your lawn perks up:DRemember every waking moment is a chance to turn it all around.;) Knowledge is the key to respect.

Hi - Just for the record, I live in the South East and would say that they have a good reputation here. As Witsend says, I guess it down to the franchisee! My OH knows a lot of people who have used them and are more than happy.0

Many thanks to every one, I think I will give them a try and see how I get on as there seems to be no one else in my area.
Sorry about not pressing the thanks button all done now. I didn't know it was important, do you get something if you get lots of thanks ?xxxdxxx

Anybody has ever used this company? I am getting fed up with moss taking control of the lawn and leave bare patches. Every year, I tried to do the right thing, aerating the lawn, apply moss killer etc and yet I do not seem to be able to control it. This year I have decided to ask green thumb for a survey. I understand it can cost as little as £14 for a small lawn. Wonder whether the company is any good? Thanks0
