Hello everyone
Back to work today and my alarm clock has broken. Luckily I was awake already waiting for it to go off. So had a quick trip to the retail park after work to get a new one and also to change DDs trainers that she insisted were the right size when we bought them.
Hope all had a good day

Hi all.
Sorry, I've not caught up with the Daily for a couple of days, so hope everyone is OK.:o
Marie our Yule decs came down on Sunday - I couldn't stand not being able to dust properly for another day longer!:D
Mr LW kindly offered to help me dust the lounge :A because my shoulder's still very painful, and we had all the stuff out of the glass cabinet and gave that a good dust, too.:o
He's back to w*rk today, should be home any minute in fact. We've got veggie stew for dins. I hope he's not much longer - I'm starving!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Not a hugely great day for me today I was awake from about 1.30amish this morning and I did not get off to sleep until gone 4.00 by the time the alarm went off at 7.00am this morning I felt hung out to dry!
Luckily I work half day on a Tuesday so it was not too bad! Managed to nip into town on the way home from work but it was bitterly cold and by the time I got back to the car it had started raining again. I was so flipping glad to get in the car to be dry and at least a little protected from the harsh elements.
Did a Sainsbury's shop on the way home and got some RTC items for the freezerhave not had a really 'big' day today primarily because of lack of sleep, hopefully I will sleep well tonight.

Finally manage to get on line today! Woke up late. (well actually woke at 3am realised i'd left bedding and under wear on the washing line and had to covertly go retrieve it all from nieghbours gardens before day light...:o) then my alarm didn't go off so didn't get up at 6 and walk the dog, got up at 8 and went straight to work!
came home, made dinner and lunches and now i can finally relax!
not caught up on the thread yet, but hope everyone is okay.
Cottage pie and green beans for dinner - was lush, saut!ed the beans in butter and garlic.. YUM.
I was thinking of going on my exercise bike, but i'm exhausted, so am going to read my book and chill instead. My 9k walk yesterday makes up for doing nowt today, surely?
Still not sure what to wear for the funeral. My mum said to wear what ever i wanted. Its a task i am putting off. But need to get it sorted as we are leaving Friday after work.

You know what the road to hell is paved with? Well so much for mine. I was determined to get though my to-do list today but Vicarage decreed that we should clear the dining room before our visitors came. We spent all day sorting rubbish and trotting madly to and from the church next door hiding things we didn't know what to do with. The youth club are going to be a bit puzzled by the sudden appearance of Victorian Sermons and Greek Bibles on their bookshelves! The number of rubbish sacks outside the church have multiplied during the day also. Anyway our dining room is now a sight to behold, clean, tidy, sweet smelling and shiny.
The rest of the house is sadly in the same state that it was in this morning. Never mind, I still have the procrastinators best labour saving device - tomorrow!
Vicarage then had a go at the cooker, (eat your heart out JulieG) and I have been forbidden to actually cook anything in it. A poor look-out for visitors methinks.

Hi all,
Back to work today - boooooo......
Took HM soup in with me for lunch, enough for tomorrow too, using up leftover jarred olives, pickled onions etc as snacks as well.
Made spag bol for kids and OH, I had the Bol sauce on half an aubergine covered in grated cheese and wacked in the oven, was yummy.
Took out some YS chicken thighs for tomorrows dinner, will use up peppers, onions and tomatoes etc that are looking very sad in the bottom of the fridge.
Washing x 2 is done and hung on the airer.
Kids back to school tomorrow, so off to make their packed lunches now.
Hope everyones ok and has survived this foul weather, enjoy the rest of your evenings xxNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Evening ladies, still blowing wildly out there but the rain has stopped. Have retired to my bed, watching Benidorm in peace and quiet. Ended up with cottage pie for tea tonight kindly brought over by Andrew from his mum. Little star, he also took woofer over the fields for a good run with ds3 .
My elderly neighbour who collapsed NYE is home from hospital, he had a funny turn according to his wife who popped in for a cuppa and a chat before they went to collect him from the hospital. So their son has come to stay for a few weeks to look after them both. So glad he is 'ok' think that there may be more to come though:(.
God I am so chilly and my toes are tingling , not pins and needles but tingling IYKWIM hurts like hell.
Enough of my moaning again, have a lovely evening allPaul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -
