OP, can you post something positive about your job because it all sounds like a bit of a nightmare to me and I think you should seriously consider something that fits in a bit better with your circumstances. It's all very well people posting government guidelines/parental leave laws, but if it's all made very difficult for you then it's not as straightforward as it should/could be.
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -

After reading all the legal stuff, it says for emergencys you are only allowed to take of 2 days unpaid leave. i went into work the following day, supervisor called me up to his office.
Before i went into work i actually broke down to the union rep, 1 rthe fact work were not being nice and 2 that my dad is not good with cancer.
Anyway i think maybe union mentioned something because, when i went work my BOSS was actually very nice. and just told me to be carefull with the time i had off and if baby needs to go hospital try and get appointments late on in the day so i dont need much time of.
So thanks for all your comments, but i think i worry to much. I really thought i was gonna get a right pasting but at the end of the day i had done nothing wrong !!!
As for changing my job that is not feasable at the min.:ASexy_fufu:A0 -

(btw 18 months ago I was asked to explain why there were 12 seperate complaints about me - all saying I was picking on the complaintant... my reply "well if I am picking on 12 people out of 17 (team grew since) then I'm doing my job well I think" and walked out and never heard another word about it... Sorry but supervisors have jobs to do too...)
That one made me really laugh, Tine. Love it.
Sexy FuFu, glad that it all seems not to be a problem for you now. However, you might want to keep your eyes open in the future for another job at a workplace that can offer more flexibility. Children take a long time before they're independent, the problem doesn't get any less as time goes on!0
