I can't imagine anyone coming on here and admitting to not washing their hands to be honest. I am sure that there are people who are in a hurry who will forget

Haha I realise that, (apart from maybe Lotus Eater?) it was more to get reactions and other people's stories! Thanks for all replies, very interesting. x:T
  • I always wash my hands after the toilet. I do work in a cafe so I always wash them when I go in the cafe and when I leave. I will wash them if I also empty bins etc.

I have seen my colleagues leave without washing their hands. Yuck.

At a local coffee shop one of the kitchen assistants used to loo and then came out without washing her hands - disgusting!
It is not only disgusting, its downright dangerous. This puts people in hospital all the time. I would have been on to the manager with a complaint and i would not have been quiet about it either.

Absolutely however I've recently noticed while at friends house I've had to ask for soap or a towel or both after visiting the bathroom!! I always make sure I've got soap and a fresh towel in the bathroom for visitors - or is this just me?!

    I have no shame.

I always wash my hands after the toilet, or after taking the bins out (for example), but I don't go crazy with it. It should just be about damage limitation, rather than outright germ annilihation.

What I don't understand is that touchless liquid soap dispenser that came out recently. You wash your hands immediately after pumping out the soap, and you have no need to touch it again after that, so what germs are you actually eliminating there? None. Absolutely, completely, 100% pointless!
