Urgh! Yes I do always and yes I also carry a little bottle of antibacterial liquid gel around with me (personaly I think they should be free to everyone) especialy in winter with all the bugs going round, infact I have become quite paranoid and OCD thinking about it !

Ive got into the habbit of washing my hands after coming home, wherever I have been, its the first thing I will do! Also after opening the post!
I also wash any (winter) gloves, hats and scarfs I have worn regularly.

Maybe we should all just go about like this :T then we know who'se clean and who isnt lol

I have an allergy to some types of soap, so if I forget to bring my own I can't wash but I'll always at least rinse. And I usually always have disinfectant hand gel on me that I can use, even if I forget my soap! Men though, hardly ever wash their hands, which I always find odd because they actually have to touch *ahem* down there to go for a number 1 so if anything they need to wash their hands more!
Oh my goodness, we actually have to touch our down there :rotfl: Do you realise how many times a day blokes touch their "ahems"?

I'll give you a clue, it's alot more than we have wee's.

If we all went around doing this none of us would have any natural resistance to germs. It's bad enough as it is, you can tell the children with OCD parents they're always ill.

There's a time and a place for anti-bacterial gels, sprays etc, everyday use isn't it.

You wash your hands after opening the post? I don't wish to sound unnecessarily harsh but do you have any idea how odd that may sound to someone who's not OCD?

What danger can oft-worn gloves, hats and scarves of your own be to you?

An uncharitable person could claim that you're looking for problems in your life to solve where there aren't any.

    Reet... that's where you're confused.
We wake up and then give him a long meaningful shake (to babestation) to wake him up as well and to make sure he still works and didn't break overnight ;) Then we jump in the shower and give him a wash, a proper wash, probably better than we wash our faces.
Then we tuck him up nice and cosy inside our trousers where he stays for the day. So he's a lot cleaner than our hands, which is probably why it's easier to get you lot to suck the general than our grubby fingers.

Well seeing as washing is for dirty people and you like washing... then it's the rest of us who's clean :p

It's the germs on the flush handle that worry me. I love those ones you just pass your hand in front of and they flush without having to be touched. Also the loo seat, from being raised and lowered by people who haven't washed. (I often wonder why the loo seat in a ladies loo has been left up - can't imagine why - unless someone has taken their small son in there I suppose.)

I carry a tiny (ex- eye drops) bottle of handwash for places that are lacking in soap, and also gel for when there isn't water either. I'm usually using public facilities when I'm travelling, and I take sandwiches so need to be clean for when I want to eat them.

OH is a bit paranoid about door handle germs, and if we 'go' together (but into our respective Ladies & Gents obviously) he waits for me in the lobby so that I have to heave open the outer door, as he won't touch it. In the winter I have gloves in my pocket and put one on to open the door. In summer it's either loo paper or the sleeve of my top if it has long sleeves.

Can't work out the significance of the person who makes a point about washing her gloves/scarf etc. - isn't this just normal laundry?
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

After going for a pee I do not wash my hands unless I get urine on them. Do not wash my hands before eating or cooking...only time I do wash them is in the shower and after a number 2.

Not had a cold or any kind of sickness in over 2 years now. When I see people with those little anti bacteria gels I shake my head, no wonder pharmaceuticals have some of the highest profits in the world.
