Hi TG and a happy new car to you too :j

Loved the photo of your matching nail varnish and car :rotfl:

It sounds like you are really settling into your new role and that you are going to enjoy it so that's great to hear after the period of uncertainty that you have had

Thanks ATT I think I will like my new role its just so much to learn and yesterday I got stuck with the IT system eventhough they had just shown me how to do it. Hopefully today will be better going down twice, this morning and this afternoon. Nearly finished the stuff I needed to do for the old work and booked hotel for Thurs night after my leaving do. Next week I do have some appointments but they are OK I will be one night away as well. That means still need 6 nights for hotels.com if I book the last one with them. Not sure if I will as it would be more convenient to stay somewhere else to be fair next week.

Put £500 into the Stocks and Share ISA I opened via Quidco you just had to pay £50 a month but they changed it and I am not sure if it was before or after I opened mine so put £500 in for this year and then the £50 a month is for next year. Will see how it goes if it performs well might lump more in from my redundancy money.

Need to open new Major ISA in this tax year lent DH my £5k so will use redundancy money which I get my cheque so estimate that will be clear around the 20th or something like that.

Written all ISA detials down on a spreadsheet so I can keep an eye on interest rates etc. I am getting 3.3% with my Santander savings account but that is dropping on the 1st May its not an ISA so good to stick money into for now.

After May will need a home for the redundancy cash might upgrade to the 123 Santandar account but not move any DD's as they come out of the joint account and its to messy to do that.

Well its 8.15 time to get full dressed and make a cup of tea to enjoy in the greenhouse.

Gosh time flies been busy had my leaving do done the last 400 mile round trip to HQ and I am not going to miss that journey. Rossi was OK but it was a long way in a small car I must say.

Last trip away this week Tuesday night, booked via Hotels.com for 10% cashback and 1 more towards a 3rd free night. Work has agreed for me to attend an annual conference in May for 3 days and old work is paying incl travel. It will be a total jolly as I am a delegate but I can say goodbye to a few people and I hae been to this conference every year for the last 7.

Itching to open 13/14 ISA but dont have the money as I lent it to DH. Hopefully they are going to see a solicitor to get the probate sworn and they money will then come in after that.

Got my garden nicely sorted at the weekend nice with a bit of sunshine. Greenhouse got to -1 but also up to 27c so that is a bit of a variation.

Got loads of garden goodies and magazines as a leaving present really nice stuff. Also two nice bottles of wine. Going out tonight for BIL birthday, my friend with the ancient boyfriend is coming too. Going into new work at 1pm so nice to be able to sort a few things out this morning.

Really want to order rubber mouldings for Rossi as he got a very small dent in his doors from a carpark. I think it will be worth it in the end.

Anyway must get on with things chat later.

Times gone by again, had my final work gig and Friday spent some more time and my new job.

Had friends over last night plus BIL friend cooked Seabass brought everything so I didn't have to do anything. Out for breakfast this morning, got back to a sorry we missed you from postman, DH chased I'm down it was my redundancy cheque. Off to the bank don't want to give work any extra interest.

Well here we are at a crossroad yet again, I actually think its time to start a new diary, not sure what to call it but I'm MF, with a slightly nutty DH, about to sell the business and I have a lower salary to cope with.

Will have to think of a good name.

Been fun chatting on here hope to see you on my new diary in the near future.
