Ok maybe just maybe I have overdone things today.:o

As well as the shopping today met BF half way (it was lovely to see him after 6 weeks) for a snack and coffee at a cafe.:j

Feeling a bit sorry for myself tonight, and had a 2 or 3 glasses of wine (not good) so have not done the SOA, sorry maybe tomorrow.:(

Have caught up with a few diaries but not replied (will do so in the morning)

    Catch up tomorrow

Oh dear, I'm sorry you are feeling a little sad. Understandable perhaps having seen BF and then having to head back home ? I think on this occasion you are allowed a couple of glasses of vino personally, so I wont tell you off for not doing the SOA ! I'm pleased that you got to see each other though after so long, it must have been lovely to catch up . Hopefully it wont be such a long time until you can get together again.

I hope you have a good sleep and feel much better in the morning .

    Morning Mrs P

Definitely overdid the vino and suffering for it this morning.:o

It was lovely to see BF even if only for a short time.

Have decided that as it is such a glorious day I am going to drive to the seaside (its about a 30 min drive) to blow the cobwebs away.
Also I have always found the sea theraputic.:j

I want to get off the pc for a bit as still getting emails from work and it will stop me worrying.

Happy Birthday to Mr P hope both he and you have a super day, catch up later

Well had a lovely day yesterday drove to the seaside and got there about 11ish.

Went for a walk on the front and it was very eerie, there was a thick sea mist (it had been bright sunshine when I left the house), the tide was out and you couldn't see or hear the waves. Also very quiet the only people on the beach were 2 men hunting for treasure

Still it was nice to get out and about and "blow the cobwebs away"

Looks like Mrs P was right about the "hormonal " as we said we MSE girls must stick together.:rotfl:

Finally finished the job for work yesterday and then lo and behold I get another email asking about something else
You would have been proud of me ladies, I said No I couldn't do it until I was back in the office.:p

Have another visitor today, my ex (we are still very good friends and have a daughter together). I think he is bringing her mothers day card down for me (very MSE save on the postage) so it will be good to see him.

I haven't forgotten I need to do my SOA so will look at organising that this evening.

As you know going back to work next week but not on Monday thank goodness, not really looking forward to it. When ever I have been off a length of time its always awkward going back. plus I have gained weight again, not just me pigging out but the meds and I feel people look at me strangely. (not helped as most of the girls are stick insects:o)

Right onwards and upwards WM is on and I was going to bake a cake but we will see

    Back later

Ok my visitor has just left, we had a lovely day. He bought me some flowers (in his words in case our daughter forgets:rotfl:). She is a mum herself now so think she will be the one expecting flowers. Having said that her card arrived this afternoon.:D

Went for another drive to the seaside, it was breezier than yesterday but at least I could see the sea today which was nice.

Had a good chin wag this afternoon which as I have not had a great deal of company the past 7 weeks was good fun.

Needless to say I haven't achieved a great deal on the home front today but will look at doing some bits later and over the weekend.

It sounds like the perfect day today. I am so pleased for you :D

Its lovely you are both still such good friends, and how lovely of him to bring you flowers. I imagine it must be a very strange feeling when your own daughter becomes a mummy herself !

I'm glad you enjoyed the sea side, is it far for you to go ?

I dont think you should feel guilty about not achieving too much indoors, says she who feels permanently guilty !!! :rotfl:

I hope you have a lovely evening, fancy joining me in a virtual vino later !!! We could get quite a crowd together !!!

    Hi Mrs P

Would love the virtual vino which in my case tonight is "horlicks" :rotfl:

The seaside trip was only 30 mins away, it was nice but chilly today.

You are right about the strange feeling when your own little baby has one themselves. I felt strange the day I found out she was expecting :rotfl: but I see her in a different way now (but she will always be my little girl).

Hope you manage to relax tonight, catch up tomorrow

Oh NRA, I'm osrry you are fed up ths evening, thats not good to hear. These blasted Hormones have a lot to answer for dont they ?!! If you log on later and talk rubbish its fine, Horlicks can do that to you !!!;) I , on the other hand need absolutely no excuse to talk a load of old rubbish at any given opportunity as you may have guessed.

I'm glad you enjoyed the film. I hate watching a film twice, but it is one of the few ( well that and The Help, have you seen that ?) that I would happily watch again.

Not sure if I will be logging on again later, I have literally just walked through the door and slung some dinner on, so by the time its cooked, eaten and tidied away I may just vegetate.

Will you be seeing your daughter tomorrow ? I'm not sure if she is living close by. I do hope so though .

    Take Care xxxx
