Ref the drain. Can you still get Washing Soda Crystals in the UK. If you can get a jug and put two cups of the crystals and 2 cups of boiling water in the jug. mix until dissolved. then pour that down the drain. Might help.

soda crystals can be bought in any good store, like Home Bargains, Iceland, Lidl, Aldi, Sainsbury's, any hardware store, some of the cheap shops. I bought a box from my 99p store.

  • So Angelettes .. where have I been ?

So much in eight months -: After the joy of take-off, I've been flying through turbulent air, losing altitude and hoping to whoever listens that I wouldn't stall ... recovering some of the loss ... being hit by a stealth missile, nearly crashing and now desperately attempting an emergency landing for repairs :(

So here’s the “NEG” Stuff …
After starting so well, I managed some debt payments - not huge amounts, but something. Work promised me some extra hours by adding in another section to my job role, had finally managed to steady the budget .. all seeming good.

I then hit a big pocket when my wagon failed it's Mot in August - needing £600 odd of work to get through it. Had to rob Peter to pay Paul (yes, I know a mistake .. and even bigger one being from where I borrowed some of it from) but thought I'd be able to repay it from some of my WTC later on. Then my additional hours suddenly disappeared one month, and despite asking - no explanation of why - and not had them since.

October found me short as I didn't get my WTC paid to me - leaving me with no money to pay for fuel & food, let alone any bills or debts .. on investigation, they'd not updated the renewal with my advise of change of income (down from the previous year). Re-instated it, but no back payment and a huge decrease due to my earnings last year being more than they'd calculated. First amended payment made to me in Nov.

Had to explain situation to debtors & utilities etc, Council jumped on me (this was one of the kitty's I'd had to borrow against for the car) and are now threatening bailiffs and wont accept my agreed payments anymore let alone reduced ones. This is despite me also putting in a CTC claim (as my WTC has been reduced).

Then I got told by my company that they’re letting me go (redundancy) - my role is being combined with that of another persons, and there are no suitable alternative roles for me to be given. It's a very small company & mainly a sales office - I'm not a sales person. So by mid Jan - I will be out of work.

That’s it to date, I’ve not yet updated my SOA – some went down, some have gone up + charges – I guesstimate that I’m at about the same totals – just different balances on individual debts. The main thing being that I’m currently down in income (WTC) by £ 295 a month, with the same outgoings.

I need help to find an emergency landing spot, help to source repairs – whether temporary or permanent, and some moral support whilst I taxi round to attempt a re-launch.
