Happy Easter Angel, sorry you didn't get the dream job but really glad the other job offered you more money
I think your approach is the best way, it may just turn out to be your dream job in the long run

Wow GA
Well done on the job - sorry you didn't the get the dream job but am really pleased that you have got something. Makes sense to see it as an opportunity.
REally impressed on the ebay listings - have done nothing. Don't seem to have the energy or the organisation at the moment but I will work on increasing my income over the next month!

Hi Urg, I also haven't had much energy for listing ... takes me soooo long to do one listing, as I'm still feeling my way - but this stuff needs to go, and I could do with the extra pennies I might get so I've bit the bullet so to speak.:o
Well, having spent ages trying to measure things & estimate what new size postage category they'll fall into ... I decided to get creative ... and have made my own measuring guide. Now I can just see if items will fit through the holes and I'm good
I've deliberately made the "slots" slightly smaller than the official sizes to err on the side of caution - hopefully that will help me speed up on listing the stuff ...Oh, and in true MSE Style ... I mangled one of the cardboard boxes I've just emptied :rotfl: One less box under my feet :T

Good Evening Angelettes,
March was an up & down month, and I didn't manage all of my targets - either on the earnings front or the activities side
But, I did achieve some of it, and got myself a job to boot, so I will look upon March as an overall success
Some of the missed activities will carry forward to April instead, with a couple of new ones added. Now that I will be earning a "Traditional" wage - I will revert to using the "Make £10 a Day" challenge for extra money (more to follow in next post)
Hope you all enjoyed the inflight chocolate fest this month, I'm sure there'll be another chance to consume copious amounts of food & drink later in our flight

I managed to list 37 items on the Bay over the Easter Weekend, so well on my way to hitting that target for the month. I'll list some more in the next day or so on shorter auctions @ the 99p free list. Quite pleased as one of the items I listed today already has a bid on it
It will be a short but busy week for us, Mr GA has his Scans later this week, (I'll have to take that day off) we'll see how long they say it will be for the results, and keep everything crossed that we get an all clear.
I took some time today to sort & get everything ready for my First Day on the new Job. Clothes, shoes & bits are sorted & ready, packed lunch made & in fridge and I'm looking forward to getting settled in.:)
