Hmmm tough one... i guess the only thing to think about is how you will feel if the other one doesnt come off and you have turned this down? If you wouldnt be that disapointed to have neither then its worth the risk- if you would be gutted then its a big gamble. Just my thoughts...

Thanks Beanie, though I'd settle just for having any wisdomHmmm tough one... i guess the only thing to think about is how you will feel if the other one doesnt come off and you have turned this down? Thanks Haybel, thing is I'd have mixed feelings if I'd turned it down and the other one didn't happen. I'm just not sure how much of that would really be down to me wanting to have a job just so I've got some money coming in - if that makes sense ?Can you say yes, go for the other interview and take it from there ?
Thanks El, You're not the first to suggest that idea. My friend also said about doing this but it just doesn't sit right for me, especially as they were wanting literally an immediate start.
My friend also suggested just laying it on the table and seeing what they said, but despite another message being left - I've not heard back from them, so I'm figuring that maybe they've had a change of mind themselves.
Ultimately I'm thinking that, if I don't try for this other one - THAT would be something I did regret for a long time. So perhaps that gives me my answer ?

Say it as it is El ... no need to sugarcoat it for me :rotfl: I'm thinking you may be spot on.
News for today consists of a small £10 being added to the tally from my ebay sales over the weekend - a bit disappointing, but better than a boot up the jacksey :rotfl:
Mr GA had a call from the Hospital today - we have to go there tomorrow so that they can put some kind of heart monitor type thingy on him. They want to measure something or other over the course of 24 hours, which means we'll have to trot back again on Wednesday for it to be removed
Going back to the job hunting & interviews topic .... I've already got butterflies over the "special" interview ... not only from nerves. I can't remember the last time I felt this excited about a role. I'm reading everything I can find on the company and the things they're doing
I have to admit, having read the blurb about some of the staff team - I'm really not quite sure how I've managed to sneak in to the interview stage. I need to work on some good questions to ask them, and just as importantly some very good answers to questions they may ask. The one I hate most is the "tell us about yourself" - ummm well where shall I begin ?:rotfl:

Sorry I am known for being blunt and cutting through ( what I call) the BS
It's the same when I do an NLP or Hypnotherapy session, some people find my way if working brilliant but others find it uncomfortable
Good luck with the interview, I'm sure you will be great0 -
