Have taken down the decorations and got the room back into order. Had hospital appointment and oh was off today so thought i would make the most of having him home.

Been to hospital today and all is fine with little one. Got an appointment for 41 weeks if he/she has not arrived by then!!!!!

My Birthday tomorrow (can't quite beleive i am 41 and having a baby!!!) so am having a day at home and doing some baking using up some stuff and playing with my new mixer.

Need to change my bedroom round to make room for the moses basket and i really should make a decent effort to pack the hospital bags. Anyone any suggestions as what i should really pack i know i have done this before but i can't remember.

Going to do upstairs at the weekend kitchen been done today beds are done on Friday when ds at his dads.

dusty - it hasn't been too bad this year until now, but the house hasn't got as cold as in previous years (well, it's not as cold outside), I now have an extractor in the bathroom, and I'm keeping the dehumidifier upstairs as that's where it's worst. It may take a while to dry the house out if it has been damp in the past, but if the new windows are double glazed, you shouldn't be getting condensation.

I do (except today) air the house in the middle of the morning (just as it starts cooling down from the morning's heating) for an hour or so, and that generally helps.

I have to admit, people keeping asking me why I don't change mine. I like metal windows :) what don't you like about the new windows and can you hide it?

    Evening

It was my first day back at work today, completely and utterly manic. More so than I'd expected. My work laptop has broken which makes work almost impossible, then my car had another 'moment' and I had to leave work early to get it to the garage, and I had to bring a load of word home with me. I don't cope well with disruption to my routines unfortunately so have been quite stressed.

But pleased to have made Level 2 today - couldn't hoover because OH is in bed ill.
Didn't even know you could wash a shower curtain, will try it next time I wash towels.
And have done way more than half an hour of paperwork today with the work I had to bring home.

Hope everyone is well, will catch up later if I can find the time.
