For anyone interested in getting together, how about Wednesday 15th Feb?

Cycling had a good point, too - how will we recognise each other?

Sounds good to me :D We've never had problems recognising each other at other meets - just be specific about exactly where to meet (and look for the other people looking lost!! :rotfl:)

well if will if you have all your paperwork to hand and can remember your password! It does kind of depend on how complicated your finances are... call me if you get stuck :p

I'm waiting for them to send me my password and my finances aren't that complicated (I hope!) as I'm only self-employed for 30 ish hours over one week of the year.

Given my current food problems, I can't guarantee it will be better. Dates look good to me so far - how about we have a chat later this week when we've recovered from the shock of work and think about logistics? (Just in case anyone thought I wasn't serious about the spare room decorating party... ;-))

Fine by me - how big is the spare room?! Hmmm ...... maybe we could decorate your room one day and my hallway another ;)

You're in the right part of the world :) It's likely to be somewhere not too far from you...

It's likely to be Hampshire / Sussex / Surrey depending on who wants to come. You're very welcome to join us.

  • WOW - decided about 40 minutes ago to sort through junk jewellery and clean dressing table... well - that was fun! I have a bag (handbag) full of jewellery I will be taking to the charity shop tomorrow!. I have cleaned the dressing table, the side table and the fireplace in the master bedroom. I really enjoyed that! I am doing the Fly as well as a declutter calendar for 2011 and 2012. I have also moved broken jewellery that I can refashion to my box of beads and stuff - will use this in crafting later in the year.

Best thing is now I can head to bed and spend 30 minutes reading for a change - not study stuff either - a real book I found under the junk that had accumulated on my dressing table. I know it was since (shock horror) April as I also found a payslip dated then! eeeck!
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

Well I have now sorted the bedroom!!

Bed stripped and re made with help from OH (love that feeling getting between clean sheets)
All clothes put away (clean ironed ones into drawers and cupboards, dirty ones into laundry basket)
    Landing, bathroom and bedroom hoovered
Boots re-parceled and ready to be returned
    Catalogue return courier booked
Bookcase dusting started (will finish tomorrow)

Am now having a relaxing [STRIKE]bottle[/STRIKE] glass of wine before heading to bed in about 10 mins

Back at work on Wednesday so I'll get all of my work stuff sorted tomorrow and visit the tip as I have several bags that won't go in my wheelie bin and I usually manage to fill that each fortnight without having any extra bags, if I take them to the tip I can at least start the year without too much stuff to throw away!!

Hugs spoons and goodnight to all
