Yay. My own return 95% done. I only have 11 paid ones left to do. But as at in-laws I am a bit limited so I thought I'd do mine while watching James Bond. greenbee the website is a nightmare at most times of year. I keep getting stuck and I do it professionally

As still at in-laws, no flying done, but no mess created over NY so it shouldn't be too bad. We are heading back in about an hr and I'll S&S if necessary. It's a bank holiday here tomorrow as well so will be a mixture of work and flying.

It took me ages to work out how to pay... And also to find the fine print where it talks about HR tax relief for work pensions (after all, it tells you not to include them in the high level stuff, but I knew I'd always done it in the past... My previous employer used to email us a reminder to do it!).

Let me know when you're down here next, as I have a friend who is looking to move into your line of work. She's a book keeper rather than an accountant, but has just been made redundant and likes the idea of independence. She has one client already, but I think it would be good for her to talk to you!

CBA to do much else. I have given the kitchen a half hearted S&S so it's not too unpleasant, but there is still far too much clutter around. Maybe I should put the decorations away so the furniture can go back, but then again, it's quite handy to be able to keep my birthday presents under the tree for now :p

Didnt have a very successful afternoon. DD didnt make it back from her friends house so that we could do something together as at 3 o clock noone else wanted to get up! I went out on my own and manage to get a replacement for the charger cable to her iphone that she has had a week and friend managed to completely trash during the sleepover but couldnt get anything at all for my tablet. Nobody has anything so will have to resort to online shopping which was disappointing.

Left me feeling a bit flat especially as DH now at work and DS gone over to his GF and DHs out tomorrow night as well. Thats the trouble with having time off together, when we have to go back to work we hate it.

Managed to use up most of the leftover meats by making a shep'birds' pie from the remaining turkey and 3 bird roast which was delicious and now watching some of the Ch4 mashup before sorting mh work gear whichI know I should have done earlier but I didnt so :p.

List to carry forward ( which I will be delegating)

Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Not back to work until Wednesday so I'm trying to get as far ahead as possible!!! I have even ironed today which I never do as it's OH's job, told him I was giving him a treat and not to get used to it!!LOL

I have cleaned the kitchen including washing the floor which is a job I always put off
Ironed (the ironing basket is empty but there is a load in the WM-washing)
sorted and brought Christmas presents upstairs- now need to find a home for them all
    put away DDs washing
    S&S the bathroom

now about to put away ironing and tidy/clean the bedroom

I took DD to work tonight and changing gear was very painful which is annoying as foot had been so much better :( luckily I only have s hort drive to work so hopefully it'll be okay

    Right off I go!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
  • Good evening :D

Another productive day :) LR hoovered, dog walked, dinner cooked (by DD1, again :T) & scoffed, pots washed up, DW loaded, 2 loads in WM, 1 still on TD and...... the ironing basket is empty!! :j:j (joint effort from DD1 & myself) - except for the stuff from the TD ;)

DH is due home tomorrow morning. I don't envy his drive home as the forecast looks horrible :(

Back to normal tomorrow, so kids are about to go to bed. I hope they set their alarms :p
