Well my HHC turned into a long one - interupted only by eating my yummy turkey & ham pie for dinner.

Christmas is officially over now as I have....
Taken down the tree and all decs.
Packed everything neatly back in boxes & put in the spare room. DH & I will put in the loft once he has taken the outside lights down.
Put away a mountain of ironed clothes
    Put on WM
Sorted my Next Returns for the courier to pick up tomorrow
And DH has hoovered the tree debris from the whole downstairs - yipee!!:smileyhea
Off to fold the contents of the TD now & flake on the sofa.

Its my last day off from work tomorrow - boo hiss :(

Well done on completed tax returns, and hand-holding vibes for those in process....you have a few weeks left, so 30 mins a day until done?

:eek: I thought it would take about 30 minutes altogether!!

Penpen - I thought there was something you weren't telling us too!

Quillion - date hasn't been set for M'hell yet - Mrs C suggested it earlier - I'll try and make it too.

I'll also try and make the Southern meet if someone puts me up again - Froddy/Greenbee?

Me too PenPen - I think it was the way you worded your post! :D

Northern meet - MrsChaos suggested sometime in Feb half term but hasn't decided which day yet

Southern meet - juliejim, you're welcome to stay here again (although greenbee probably does better food ;)). As is anyone else who wants to come and needs to stop over - just remember I do have pet ratties and they are not everyone's cup of tea!

Spose I should think about a date for it then - how about Sat / Sun 31st March / 1st April? That's the start of the Easter hols down here so I won't have to worry about work on the Monday and people can stay longer if they want to do some touristy stuff :D

For anyone interested in getting together, how about Wednesday 15th Feb?

If you pm me with your e-mail address and the times which would suit you I can look at what's most convenient for everyone and work out the details. It also means keeping more detailed info off the public forum (and I'm not missing anyone's posts). ;)

Cycling had a good point, too - how will we recognise each other?

Hex and PenPen - a good excuse to plan something else for the summer.

I'd like to make the other meet, too, but we're off to Germany on the Tuesday and I don't think I could manage it.

well if will if you have all your paperwork to hand and can remember your password! It does kind of depend on how complicated your finances are... call me if you get stuck :p
Southern meet - juliejim, you're welcome to stay here again (although greenbee probably does better food ;)). As is anyone else who wants to come and needs to stop over - just remember I do have pet ratties and they are not everyone's cup of tea!

Given my current food problems, I can't guarantee it will be better. Dates look good to me so far - how about we have a chat later this week when we've recovered from the shock of work and think about logistics? (Just in case anyone thought I wasn't serious about the spare room decorating party... ;-))

You're in the right part of the world :) It's likely to be somewhere not too far from you...

I've managed quite a bit of tidying/decluttering while getting myself organised for bed, so the kitchen, hall, landing and bedroom are looking better. And I suppose the sitting room is too. Nothing is horrendous, its just too untidy to give it a good clean, but I'll get there :D
