M'hell - probably not for me this year as DH will probably still be off so I need to save my holidays for summer childcare.

Trying to get as much as I can done before work rears its ugly head.

Think about your aims for this coming year. Some thinking done, but no conclusions reached, except on sorting out some of the practical and administrative stuff (like finances)

There is still far too much clutter around to be able to hoover properly. I have a huge pile of recycling to go out, but it's cold and dark. As bin day is Wednesday I will keep working on finding rubbish, however recycling isn't for another week and the bin is almost full, as for some reason last week they half emptied it, and tipped half of it into the black bin instead...

    Hi all,

Well I've not had a very productive day at all Flying wise. Despatched DD off to a birthday party (after popping into town to buy a card & voucher :o )
Then we went out to Kingsbury water park with our bikes. It was manic there - I recon half of the population of the midlands were walking their dog today - but we had a lovely time & the weather was fab.
I've just made a turkey and ham pie for tea (a la Nigella) & have tidied the kitchen. DH is now doing the mash so I expect there will be more mess to clear up later

You have reminded me to add 'Find some rescue cats' to my plan for the year. To keep the vermin away!

Tax return  I have started listing payments on a spreadsheet since you mentioned it, then lost the will to continue....
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Just remember, you don't have long... first thing to do is check you can log on to the Govt. Gateway, as its a nightmare... I had my password reset, but as it doesn't tell you that your account is locked, I couldn't understand why the new password didn't work until I remembered having the same issue last year...
