Oh gilly you poor thing! Hope you feel better soon. I think being poorly with a baby to look after is one of the worst things. Hope Aaron manages to avoid it.

Thanks for the links Ro, trying to restrain myself a bit but it's so tempting to go mad!

Nutella did you try LO with the sweet potato? We had our first meal round the table last night with G in his little booster seat thing. Was lovely, although he did manage to get mango all over everything. That stuff is sticky!

Today we're meeting some friends for a walk then going to another friends to watch a movie later, hoping G will settle in his carseat as it'll be past his bedtime, but if not its a good excuse for some sleepy cuddles ;). Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Gosh sleepy cuddles, im quite jealous katie...reuben doesnt do cuddles! Even as a newborn he would hunch his shoulders and pull forward (think stomach crunches!) - the boy doesn't like to snuggle at all unless he's poorly!

Off to view another house today, I've already seen it and love it, this is so OH can see it. I hate renting, i wish we were in a position to buy! The frustrrating thing is, the kind of house we would want, the mortgage would be the same as how much we rent for - but no deposit so no mortgage...but we pay so much in rent we cant afford to save anything. Gah!

Oh no Gilly poor you :( hope Aaron doesn't get it.

Noah has a cold so he has been snotting/coughing all night :( he seems a bit happier this morning but I am shattered!! DP is working to day too so no chance of going back to bed.
Will probably go into town tomorrow because DS wants to spend some of his birthday money on new skylanders.

Katiechoc - sounds like a lovely day planned. :)

It's a nightmare isn't it. Like you say, renting is so expensive how are people supposed to save for a deposit? Is the house very far from where you live now?

Hope you feel better soon Gilly - sounds nasty.

    Get better Noah too.

Well I'm on the pump again as was bending over the desk and my boobs started to drip. J is asleep in his vibrating bouncer (one of the best buys we've had - £3 at a children's table-top sale). Need to head out to the supermarkets today.

Fitted into my pre-pregnancy trousers this morning. :)
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

The house is still in Wolverhampton - we have no choice, if we moved outside of wolves, OH's ex wouldn't allow him to have overnight contact with his son. But we are right near the centre (less than 10mins walk) and where we are looking is more residential, so further out. There isn't anything in our price range available near where we are - we like our location and our house actually, we just have awful damp that the landlord wont do anything about :(

Reuben is having some jumperoo time while I have some breakfast....I've had so many meals at the correct time thanks to the jumperoo!!!! :rotfl:

:T for getting back in your trousers!!!
I love going to baby sales, you can pic up some fab bargains. :D
I'm lucky as I regularly have them near me (most weekends) have a look at little pickles markets online as they are great. I don't know where you live so I don't know if they are near you.

Hope you're feeling better soon Gilly.

And I hope Noah feels better soon too. Somehow we've avoided bubba getting a cold so far, which is quite a surprise as her big brother has spent the last week coughing and sneezing all over her!

Well done for getting back in your normal clothes sexymouse. I'm nowhere near, my belly is all wobbly and big. I think I'm going to have to buy some size 14 clothes until I lose some weight.

turtlemoose I know how you feel with house deposit and the cost of renting. It drives me crazy. We have a council house so thought with cheap rent we'd be able to save. Yet as soon as we moved in the council changed the rents to bring them in line with private rent costs and we can't save anything.

We're having a lazy day today and then off pushchair shopping tomorrow :) I don't think I'm even going to bother getting dressed! It's a nice luxury to do nothing after the madness of the weekdays and the school run.

Oh, and am I supposed to add myself to the members list or does someone have control of it?

You can add yourself if you know how or in sure someone will do it for you, I can't I'm afraid as everytime I dare touch the list it all goes wrong!! :o
Know what you mean about having a break from the school run, especially this time of year. Yuk!!!
