Anyone elsebreastfeeding and ridiculously thirsty? I can't seem to drink enough

Yes! I'd never been so thirsty in all my life as in the first few weeks of Freddie's life. I too thought it was due to the BFing (and still do to a certain extent). However, I wonder if it's also to do with the amount of fluid you lose after the birth (it takes a couple of weeks for all the extra fluid to leech out of your tissues). The reason I thought this is because I'm still BFing but the thirst is pretty much gone now.

Freddie's also very spotty. It started around week two as individual spots - now it's more like a pimply, rough rash (7 weeks). The quack said just to use E45 if it bothered him (or me).

I'm not sure how to get the thingy that shows other peoples messages into my message to reply to them! lol

Ro ava has that remote too it didn't go down too well, instead she started screaming for the sky remote!

jannine hope you don't mind me asking but where did you get the little pink armchair from it's really cute (not as cute as poppy sitting in it though) i've been looking at the fisher price singing chair for ava's birthday but i'd prefer a proper chair, hope you don't mind me being nosey :)

Course I don't mind hun! The chair is from Dunelm, they do it in red and pink and other patterns as well! I didn't really have a chair in mind for her room but as soon as I saw it I had to buy it!

Love the nursery Sunshine, I love looking at people's houses, I'm really nosey!

Poppy had a much better night last night, 12 hours straight without waking up, she must have needed it and I feel like a human being again!

I made her an emergency appointment with our GP yesterday, she was covered in a red rash, had a temp and diarrhoea. With us going away tomorrow I wanted her seen. The Doc said it was a virus and gave us piriton for the rash and told us to give her calpol and calprofen which seems to be working and she is much better today!

Right I really must crack on today, still not started to pack!!

    Morning all :)

Poppy is a lucky girl with her lovely room! Now I've seen al your lovely pics I'm determined to get my act together and sort George's out properly. He's going tobe sleeping in there full time from next week as he's too big for the crib really and now we've built the jumperoo we need the space (that thing is BIG!). But we have a sofa bed in there so I'll sleep in with him for a bit, not ready to leave him by himself just yet!

    Hope George likes his jumperoo!!

They're weird aren't they, those dolls. My niece wants one (she's 10) but my SIL won't let her because she thinks they're eerie.

It's terribly sad why some women have scores of them. :(

The Turdinator's been asleep for hours. I hope he wakes up for a feed soon - my right tit's like a rock. :D

    Lol

I worried about remembering to alternate between the two, now I just give them a feel to see which one is fuller hehe

Did a paint foot print for my baby book today which was doable not the hand though, Niall will not open them. He then had his second bath, there was less screaming this time:)

Could someone add me to the list as I have no idea how to copy using an iPad

Just spent the remainder of my tax rebate on a big girl car seat (well I say big girl - it goes from rearfacing from birth through to forward facing till about 4 years - so we can actually use it now and get rid of the really annoying baby carrier one we were using), and a highchair (flipping nightmare to find one we liked)... means at least the next few months' big expenditure is sorted out.
