    Evening all

Hope everyone's ok? Glad you've found a way getting him to sleep turtle, hope your oh is ok about it.

George had his second set of jabs this morning and has been a bit clingy all day since. One of thems gone red on his leg so keeping an eye on it, and he was sick loads earlier which isn't like him. Hoping he'll go to sleep ok and wake up feeling better.

Inother news he's taken a bottle of expressed milk without too much fuss yesterday and today woop! We switched to the tommee tippee variflow teats as it seemed he was getting angry that he couldn't get anything through the normal ones, and these seem much better for him.

Katiechoc - hope George feels better soon. :(

Noah has been bathed so going to get a final bottle in him and settle him down for the night.

Just reading baby to toddler (6-23 months) month by month book
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/1848502095
And thought worth mentioning again that the original baby week by week book is very helpful too for new mummies it gives you ideas on amount of milk, nappies sleep etc as well as general guidance literally week by week it is on amazon

Yeah - we have a lot of denim pinafores with bright coloured tops underneath, and wear a lot of red - she's got a fair bit of pink (generally bought by other people) but I refuse to have her in that 100% of the time - and I HATE the "little princess and diva" or "I love shopping and shoes" type slogan stuff.

My big beef is with the Disney stuff - why oh why do the boys always get the cool stuff with Tigger on but the girls get that drip Piglet?!

I'm with you on the princess stuff ('mummy's little princess' is the worst!) - don't like it one bit. We also have pink clothes bought my other people, but thankfully a lot less these days as most presents were size newborn or 0-3, and we're now in 3-6 so I got to go shopping and buy things that I actually like :)

Katie, hope George is OK. LO had her second set of jabs yesterday, and unlike the first lot, when she was really drowsy and pretty much slept for 24 hours, we had no after-effects at all this time. She too has a red mark on one of her thighs though, so keeping an eye on that, but if it doesn't get any bigger then it's nothing to worry about.

Turtle, good luck at mum & baby group tomorrow, I'm sure it'll be fine, and if it isn't you don't have to go back :)

I know it's a while away yet but do we really have to leave this thread when our babies turn one? I don't want too!! :o Xx

Can't we re-name it to an age of our choice when Kira's not watching?... ;)

Turtlemoose - have fun at baby group tomorrow. :D
I need to find a couple more to join but might wait until September when the boys are back at school.

Noah is now asleep in bed so hopefully he sleeps through until the morning, he has a cold so he is coughing and snotty!! Poor little mite. :o
